  • In the middle of the freezing Atlantic ocean, pitch black in the dark of night... this is literally my worst nightmare

  • 240p We meet again...

  • the ship went down because god allowed it to sink he sent an iceberg to take that motherfucker down

  • the music is awsome

  • the stern got pwned

  • Like nuclear bombs in the stern it just went boom!! But it was only air... That was just dumb

  • @Evilkirbydude hahah yes looks like it!

  • Wow, the stern REALLY got a thrashing on the way down! Damn! o.o"

  • ok this is titanic but today 9/11 whenn the twin towers where hit

  • Pretty cool, huh?

  • @tqsuited Thank you for that fine forensic analysis Mr. Bodine, although the experience was somewhat different.:)

  • sometimes i wish i could time travel, if i could i would of stopped this :(

  • @deanayy12a I'm sure in the future, time travel will happen. but it could mess up time completely. maybe there would be more people in the world? thus rescouces running out faster N' stuff. and maybe you grea great grandma married sombody else when her husband died, and thats why you're here today...

  • @deanayy12a agreed whit you, but the world is not fair sometimes

  • fail 1:46

  • why is ther some stuff when titinic hits ground thats half big the ship? :S?

  • And all the sea creatures were thinking "SCORE! NEW REAL ESTATE!"

  • but the real mystery is....

if it is so unsinkable how can a block of ice break it? metal is stronger right?

    so wat happend?

  • @mileyworld1001 In that time period, the hull wasn't welded. Welding wasn't mastered until WWII. So, the hull was strips of overlapping metal held together with rivets. When the Titanic struck the ice berg, the ice popped the rivets off the ship causing the strips of metal to separate, allowing the hull to open and let the water inside. It was really just a freak accident. No one would have seen that coming.

  • the sad thing is that if they ran the iceberg head on they would of probably been able to stay afloat. The first water tight compartment would have flooded, but the others would have held.

  • this creeps me out :L

  • wow, the stern got beat to HELL

  • For this being your first video, it's impressive! In fact, this one kid used this video for their research presentation on the Titanic at my school.

  • the white star line was just plain unlucky ,they made 3 ships 2 sunk and 1 only served for I don't know about 10 years?

  • @DinokillerSithlord a little more than 20 actually, the olympic served from 1911 to 1935, when she was scraped

  • of course they go full speed as soon as they are about to enter a 78mile long ice feild!

  • Hello12345 there was more air bubbles in the stern

  • Titanic was an awesome movie!!

  • can i ask why did the stern break up more on its way down thean the bow did?

  • @hello123325 Air was building up in the stern since it sunk after the bow, causing it to break alot more than the bow. The bow didn't have as much air since there was no huge gap to allow air in. To be more simpler, the huge gap between the stern and bow in the middle of the ship caused the stern to break more by bringing the air in. The air was also probably facing from the bow towards the stern.

  • How Sad =(

  • i heard he was full speed through a sea he knew was full of ice

  • their is another problem though -yes so far they have brought up a big piece of the titanic and have it on display, but compared to the rest of the titanic its TINY. if they don't bring the rest up to study etc... it will have rotten away for ever :(

  • This is horrible.... rest in peace everyone that passed away on the titanic.... my favorite movie is titanic also... so Rose & Jack Forever!!!!

  • could there still have been people alive in the stern as it was breaking up under the water?

  • @reecey222 i don't think so- if they weren't crushed, they were under water for a long time. And that far below see level is deadly itself

  • @reecey222 yes most likely people that stayed behind, like isador and ida strauss, who voluntarily stayed behind, but death from drowning probably got them before the violent trembling.

  • when your in the bath, and put the cup upside downa push it towards the water, all the air is in te cup while its in water, and if you tilt the cup bubbles come up, think what might happend to the stern!! wtf!

  • R.I.P to all in the wreck

  • the stern end got f***ed six ways from sunday

  • i find it sad that there is a new bacteria eating the ship and that the once great titantic wreck will be a stain of rust dust on the ocean floor in 15 or 20 years

  • The Sing of Dreams at the bottom of the sea after 4 days I bet ya nobody saw that, RIP 1500 ppl who died that night

  • why did it break in half?

  • @clicky124 because the weight of the bow underwater was far too much for the back of the ship to handle as the ship was not designed to be pulled underwater and have its back exposed, its quite amazing really that the stern held out to such an extreme angle

  • REST IN PEACE to all the people who died in the titanic

    r.i.p

  • Answer This:

Would it have been possible to flood a few compartments at the stern of the ship, to balance out the weight of the flooded ones at the bow?

    Do you think it would:

(A.) Save the ship, by keeping the fifth bulkhead above flood stage.

(B.) Slow down the sinking of the ship, by reducing water flowing over the fifth bulkhead.

(C.) Make no difference, other than making the stern heavier, and keeping it intact.

(D.) Make the ship list, causing it to take on more water.

  • @Ptylersworld Are you fucking me right now? JEZUZ HERE AND OMFGWTFBBQ I NEVER EXPECTED TO SEE YOU ON A TITANIC VIDEO ARE YOU AS BIG OF A FANATIC AS ME??!

  • @ion5061

    Very yes. :D

  • It's pretty simple physics. Since bow's opening is facing backward as it goes down, not much is torn off by the water pressure. But since the stern's opening is facing forward as it goes down, much of the outer layer of the stern is torn and peeled off by the water pressure.

  • @pytko3 also the bow was already flooded and didnt have any trapped air inside, or very little, the stern was forced to implode because the air had no outlet which is part of the reason it came off so badly

  • poor stern

  • Captain should have known his ship better... If they had just hit full reverse and smashed straight into the iceberg, they would have all survived; maybe a few deaths if anyone was right up there on the bow like Leo's little "king of the world" bit.

Instead turning to try to miss was an epic mistake damaging too many compartments to stay afloat.

  • @PhatFarm60 I watched a documentary on channel4 the other week and cannot believe the lack of common sense on the crews part =/

  • HOLY CRAP

  • HOLY CRAP

  • Hmm. Looks like they didn't show the full version of this animation in the movie. Thanks for posting.

  • in a few years the titanic will seank in 2 the sand what a shame

  • NOOO LEONARDO NOOOOO!!!!

  • if i was on that ship i would have made sure i used the toilet right before it sank... even if it was vertical i would still be there on that shitter banging one right out my arse!

  • how did i get on this i was listening to supermassiveblackhole 3 minutes ago...O_o weird......i hate that iceburg it killed all those people.....at least some survived :'(

  • imagine what would've happened to titanic if it survived... at least the guys would be safe for just a little longer

  • ths makes very much sense.. so sad ):

  • I was there! lol

  • The stern got totally destroyed, and I know why, the freefall ripped it apart due to the fact that the rear contained alot of cork, the cork wouldn't absorb the water and it ripped itself out, not to mention taking most of the metals and interiors in and out of the ship.

  • The ship was too big and the propellers were too small.

  • I heard enthusiasts want to rebuild the Titanic EXACTLY like it had been and complete the voyage from South Hampton to New York.

Have all of the relatives of those that survived and perished on the ship, everyone that you can find today anyway. The maiden voyage would have to be very respectful though, pay homage to all that were there and then pull into New York harbor.

After that others could enjoy her, but NOT disrespect her in any way.

  • I'm mad at James Cameron for not putting the footage of the imploding stern in the movie!

  • tin stead of 1 min 55 sec it would have been like 13 or 14 hours to sink

  • @Everchad32 Actually, it took 3 hours to sink. This is just a fast simulation.

  • So that's what caused the boxing day tsunami.

  • @Robtehman no

  • @TheNYCDestroyed I was being sarcastic.

  • Actually, there would have been no survivors trapped in unflooded compartments. At 12 500 feet, any empty spaces containing air would have been instantly crushed by the tremendous pressure....

  • wow its not ur simulation or u didnt get it thats from the movie titanic

  • titanic got pwnd!.but seriously rip to all those lost in fateful diaster of 1912

  • 10 Days...98 Years...-sniff-

  • in the morning of april 14 1912

  • @Surebro0 the morning of april 15 1912

  • If the captain had ordered the speed to be brought down to 14 or 15 knots he would have probley saved the ship or if the ship went head on into the iceberg it's been proven it would have survived the hit.

  • @Deanokeeffe1 Actually titanic turns better with increased speed so he should have made it go faster!

  • the only way u could have prevented it was turning the wheel all the way to the left

  • @Surebro0 That's what they did but she was to close and the rudder was useless. Titanic was simply to big with to smalla rudder.

  • i love thsi song it so goes with titanic and the tiem she sank it was when everyoen started to panic and thigns werent going good by the way im gettign a moiddel to manican6 how much u pay for urs and how big is it/

  • i only wish i could tell everyone that the ship was gonna sink and it never would happen, they wouldnt be trapped in the ship =' (

  • @lilhiphopdancer2 they wouldnt have believed you.

  • @cillajoi You could always bring back the 'Titanic' movie by James Cameron. That would surprise them! But I digress. Time travel into the past is impossible. Time travel into the future, that's a whole other thing....

  • @lilhiphopdancer2 acually, a lot of people predicted that titanic would sink.

  • @CondorConnor1 Why do people insist on replying to a comment i made a year ago :l....

  • @lilhiphopdancer2 : yeah, but imagine it would have happpened. Then they'd maybe built a much more greater ship with the same structure. Imagine this ship had been sunk!

  • @lilhiphopdancer2

    shit happens

  • wow look how the back part got much more battered than the first part of the ship while it was in the ocean also what would you do if you were on the titanic? I would run like hell

  • i am so facinated in the titanic i love to watch videos like this i got a model coming should be here tomorrow

  • This is the same exact simulation in the movie, except the extra part.

  • Nothing more sadder then seeing such a majestic ship sink. Sad and Ironic. "Not even god himself could sink her".

  • @Robtehman sad to say, but he did.

  • whoever said that....probably shouldn't have.

  • stern was totaled

  • @w00tbeerisgood i know, like nothing was left by the time it hit the ocean floor.

  • @w00tbeerisgood The stern sank when it still had a great deal of air left in it, so it sank quickly, and the resulting pressure pushed the air out, which led to huge implosions. This is why there is almost nothing left of the stern... By the time it hit the bottom, everything, the decks, the superstructure, etc. fell off in a shock wave.

By contrast, the bow was almost completely filled with water when it sank, so by the time it hit bottom, it fell quite gently and near intact.

  • @drygnfyre well yeah i kinda got that

  • amm isnt this is the place where mr Boding telld Rose how titanic sanked?

  • @pampers9772 yes he just copied from the movie xd

  • sad to think people were still alive in the back part as in was plunging down to the sea floor:( apparently there was still air inside of it

  • @reecey222 they were dead long before it hit the floor, going that fast straight down would cause pressure enough to kill them. what a sad story, this will always be the worst ocean/ship story ever.

  • @rkoduke3d yer very sad way to leave this world::(

  • this simulation is on the movie... its good but it didnt split like that. it split half the way down then came back on itself and kinnda cripiling the botom befor spliting completley.

  • well it did split like that, the movie was wrong they couldnt do the real split because it was too hard and that ship was a doomed liner

  • @TommyGunOO7 no one realy knows how it sank there are many theory's but the splitting is the most deadliest one

  • does anyone know where this part of the soundtrack is available? it doesnt seem to be in the soundtracks i download? help would be useful cuz thats my fav part of it. thankx

  • It's on the second Titanic soundtrack 'Back To Titanic'. It's called 'A Building Panic'. I always found it hard to download but I have both soundtracks anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • This is a pretty good simulation of the sinking. Hard to beleive how the stern section is in bits!

  • This is a really good simulation of the Titanic and I also think this soundtrack was good idea

  • This simulation was also seen in the actual movie when Mr. Bodine (In his own *ahem* description) shows it to the 100-year-old Rose Dawson Calvert (aka Dewitt Bukater).

  • Why is it while I'm watching this simulation I can hear Mr. Bodine in my head explaining this to Old Rose ESPECIALLY the part where he said the ship had ....."got her whole ass just sticking up in the air. Now that's a big ass! We're talking 20, 30 thousand tons!!!!!"

LMAO! Yes that's a mighty big ass!!

  • Muito legal

  • fake

  • No, in real life the ships right side became transparent...

  • yep, then when they sink when it get submered enough it is no longer transparent.

  • @TopRamenKickAss No its not idiot.

  • Good Riddens.

  • this video makes my really sad :((

  • I think the stern section falling to the ocean flloor was cut from the movie for time and glamour. The bow section glided to the ocean floor. The stern section fell apart.

  • The back part of Titanic broke apart very easily, I was surprised at that. But wish it never sunk, and it was said that one of the crew had the keys to the binoclars box so they could see further ahead and see the iceburg.

  • David Blair was suppose to be the second officer on the Titanic but White Star removed him shortly before the maiden voyage, it is believed that he had the key to the locker which held the binoculars.

  • Comment removed

  • Amazingly done. I'll say now more.

  • I don't get why the stern section falling to the ocean floor was cut from the movie.

  • Youre not sure,man youre positively right...xDDDD

  • awesome video

  • You are correct. Part of this video was, anyway. This is an extended version that has other parts created by other designers.

  • more happend to it but it only a Simulator

  • This is one of the best Titanic sinking simulations....of course.....in the real life, that was really different:(

  • And it sank on the first trip :( .It's so sad

  • this a cool animation

  • also, whats the name of the song in the background

  • the sterm is destroyed so stern is losted and stern got halfed by the heavy metal

  • All the people still trapped, the ones that froze from the water, the ship itself. All sad. RIP ='[

  • did anyone ever find where the funnels went off to?

  • From what I researched, they went down too and broke apart like the ship

  • from what i know:

3 of them are real so they must've broke up during the pludge and the far left is fake and its unknown what happen to that one.

  • WOW...the ass end is totally wrecked

  • fajne

  • poor titanic i just wished that she did not sink would still be here

  • Comment removed

  • josephcarl0809 if the Titanic never sank we would not have more safety rules on boats but I also feel really sad about the people who didn't survive that sad night.

  • There was more laws passed after the Titanic's sinking then lifeboats.

  • And plus he said "I wish the Titanic never would have sunk"...

  • The Titanic's stern seriously got shredded on the way down!

  • Passengers left portholes open, when they were told not to in the stern, causing lots of air trapped in the stern to violently burst their way out of the stern

  • even if it missed the iceburg, the nazi's would have sank in the 40's

  • not nesscialry queen mary two surived as UNsdinkable

  • I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • wow what a wreck

  • This animation was from the move, right?

  • yeah

  • I think the Titanic Broke in two like that, and the Stern then viontley jerked back crushing the broken back of the bow, also the stern as well, then the bow let go.

  • my god to imagine that there might have been someone trapped in an air bubble as it sunk down. Imagine being inside the stern as the air pressure keeps building and building then suddenly the wall next to you gets blown out and you get instantly crushed by the hundreds of tonnes of water directly over you. Ouch.

  • wow... the ass-end got raped compared to the front

  • good simulation

  • what song please?

    GREAT VID BTW

  • "A Building Panic" by James Horner

  • now i know why they say the bigger they are the harder they fall....

  • Actually, the stern still had air trapped inside and as it went down, the air burst out of the ship, peeling the stern apart!

  • Superb. I've been interested with this simluation since I saw Titanic for the first time. Say Occiden89, have you found this on James Cameron's Titanic Explorer? or you get that from Digital Domain (the company behind this simulation)? ;)

  • Well, I've contacted with Digital Domain in asking to get this simulation for free or for any price, but as the biz is tough and it's always a question of copyrights and legal issues, they sure unable to do this as far this owned by 20th Century Fox.

Anyway, I found this in James Cameron's Titanic Explorer but the quality is lesser and the brights are a bit darker. But the video of it is already uploded around on YouTube. Maybe your video is from the Special Collector's Edition Titanic DVD?

  • me too

  • The stern ripped apart like shit!!!!

  • problay there could be some rooms in tact with air bubbles or something

  • what horrors met those still trapped in unflooded compartments at the bottom of the ocean... and in pitch darkness.

    nobody will ever know

  • probably the crush from the amount of pressure

  • @Jonhny2 mate.. you need to learn about pressure

  • @Jonhny2 yea i've always thought of that. although i doubt people trapped in the ship survived all the way until the ship hit bottom. there were implosions in the stern part of the ship as it went down due to trapped air. so what they likely would have experienced would be an implosion minutes after the ship went underwater. the darkness and sounds of implosions would have been horrific.

  • @Jonhny2 omg never thought of that, they were probably crushed by the pressure, :( DAMN!!!

  • @Jonhny2 "Unflooded "? That's not even a word, genius. The second thing that proves you're not very smart: "at the bottom of the ocean"? The water pressure where the Titanic lays is 2.5 tons per square inch. ALL of Titanic was flooded before it was HALF a mile under.

  • I wonder if somehow there are still rooms in the titanic that somehow didn't get flooded... in the back of the stern somehow...
