@danfrost313 Mitchell is not a director, he is a writer and actor. The director in series 1 and 2 was David Kerr, while series 3 and 4 has the director Ben Fuller. In my opinion, the Kerr direction had better timing and energy. Series 3 and 4 sketches seems bland and sloppy and Mitchell and Webb hardly smiles anymore!

Whether Mitchell or Webb are aware of their shit director is hardly of importance, I don't really believe they have a veto on the matter, and perhaps Kerr himself chose to work on something else and they are left with some documentary director.

If the sketch ended at 0:32 it would be way funnier. Usually Mitchell and Webb are great at ending sketches (unlike about any other sketch-maker out there) but they let this one drag on too long.
