Terence McKenna once said of culture that "someone wants to turn the whole world into an airport arrival concourse, that's not the victory of someone's culture over another no one ever had a culture like that"!

I feel the guy in the glasses who plays the counter voice at the start wants to do exactly that.

"Let's tarmac the world everybody and kill any culture that gets in our way"

And this he calls the modern world.
