what vario makes that noise?

Ball M19. It can be configured to peep a number different noises, but that is what was set by default when I bought the vario used from a hang glider. Some pilots have commented about how that is the most annoying sound they have ever heard but I have become accustomed to it.

OK thats why I didnt recognize it - I'm used to braunigers, digifly, flytec, renschlers. etc :)
