ok first rule about winching. dont just shitcan it after you get some traction. use the traction available to supplement the winch so you dont burn it out by over taxing it.

@dieselwarriordotcom - Perhaps I was a little over enthusiastic in my description. The Army built a road, the indigenous tribespeople blew it up with mines.

It was built and never used. That's why the big holes and destroyed bridges.

It was still a pretty amazing adventure though, I had the shits all through it, didn't put that in the video. ; )

given the situations you encountered that resulted in difficult crossing of certain areas (like then end where you were nearly stuck in the gap in the road) did you ever wish you had equipped the vehicle with lockers, larger tires and a larger suspension package to allow for more suspension travel and perhaps make things easier?
