Hey, i just got a broad band adaptor for my gamecube. i never had one. i played all my files offline and with friends. are their still ways to play phantasy star onlne for gamecube? any active servers that i could play on somehow? and what can i do to play?

1st search for a private server like izakaya (mostly japanese players), schtserv (nice place to start) sylverant (new server using new server software) or onlineconsoles (6 month aproval)

Then check the connect guides

then play online.

I had this game on the Dreamcast. It was ahead of its time. Really ahead of its time. Those of us who enjoyed it on the Dreamcast (before the hacks came out) were part of a revolution. My first MMORPG experience.

when the nintendo wii came out, THIS was the game i was looking forward to. *sadly i didnt have any clue about servers and them being shut down* I knew that the wii was wifi ready and pso for the gamecube was meant to be played online. it never came to be, but this game was one of the core reasons i bought the wii.

@shayne1228906 I agree, with this game u had to press buttons at a certen time to combo, it was hard, PSU sucked, yeah it had more, but it dident have the feeling, with this you had a challange, bosses attualy hurt, you was always on your tose even on the field, been surrounded could mean your own death, PSU and PSP held no challange for me, that mecha boss on this, bloody hell! not to mention ultimate mode, that took the piss! PSO FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!

Also in the gameat the guild counter we can see the planet, however it looks like earth but a much older one, the continents were still very close of each other.

As far as I was examining the series, just like in Star Wars universe, there isn't an exact equivalent of a planet called "Earth" or "Terra" in Phantasy Star Universe, actually.
