@silverflower022 A guy like Tyler Ward may be trying to get his name out there, but doing it on the back of other artists comes with a few caveats. If you're going to cover an singer as talented as Jason Mraz, then you have to bring more to the table. Change up the arrangement, the pacing. Make it stand out. Otherwise, it comes across as an inferior product. Very few can match the vocal ability of Mraz, and he did an ok job with it, just not enough to be considered in the same league.

What makes this cover better than all the others, and perhaps on a certain level, better than Mraz, is the exceptional honesty portrayed in the way he sang it. He sang it like he meant it. He put more boldness and truth in the song. I think in every musical piece, that's what matters. :)
