brew your own Kombucha It taste NOTHING like the bottled stuff NO VINEGAR TASTE!!! It is cheaper to to make it Check out my video How I make Kombucha tea.
Kombucha definitely sounds better that its literal meaning in English, Brown Seaweed Tea. I use Kombu as soup stock for miso soup or udon (both Japanese dishes), and I've heard that it's good for your digestion.
Hi sakathom - I've actually used udon noodles in a recipe and I like miso soup. I use spirulina everyday and try to eat as much seaweed as possible. I didn't know Kombucha was brown seaweed tea, though. I like it A LOT - it really does seem to help with digestion. The bottle says it's also good for immunity, making your ph alkaline and other things. I think it's the best way I've found to get probiotics.
I was actual wrong, since I originally meant to say that it is kelp in Japanese, therefore you could also call it "Kelp Tea". My mom likes to use a lot of dried kombu for boiling soybeans at low temp so that it aids better digestion, or less gas if you know what I mean. I haven't used spirulina for a while (since it's expensive), and I should start using it again because I don't eat enough vegetables.
Yes of course, but several other people have had the same thing happen. The tea is acidic and certain beverages will raise the odds of stones, grapefruit for example.
Especially in people, such as myself, who may have a propensity for "growing" them.
I was going through very rough waters about a week and a half ago and I lost about 5 pds... which is ALOT for me. But I am back to normal. You look fabulous by the way
Thank you! And I'm sorry you were having a rough time. You're still making great videos, though and you still look great too. Yes, for the vertically challenged, even a couple lbs can make a big difference (either way!)

I've considered brewing my own, but the bottle says theirs is brewed 30 days. I'm going to check out your video now.

Kombucha? I would avoid it. It gave me kidney stones. The guy that gave me my starter got them as well.

Did you ever thing that it was probably because you already had stones and your body was then trying to get rid of them???

I don't know if you'd like this one...it tastes like vinegar! But it's strangely appealing and supposed to be good for you.
