Just a quick note. Please, never EVER use a file on the tip of your soldering iron unless you intend to destroy it. Most tips have a coating to increase the life of the tip and if you use a file on it it'll be destroyed right quick. I just wanted to get that out there in case someone decides to give the actual tip (instead of the point above it as in this vid) the same treatment.

Of course this is a cheapy iron so no big loss. I just don't want kids destroying dads irons ;)

I love it, that was probably my favorite how-to-solder video. The tips from experience, like the flattened soldering iron tip for solder pool to the finger linking are really great. Good quality video and sound. Thanks for your efforts to make soldering coolneon wire easier!
