  • Statistically speaking, frac'ing is a very safe process. Compared to driving cars or even flying planes, its safety record is quite respectable. I challenge frac'ing opponents to all stop driving motorized vehicles entirely (ahem, which run off fossil fuel) since they are statistically more life threatening than drilling operations.

  • The best part of this video, aside from Sen. Inhoffe exposing the truth, is the sour puss the woman makes at the 00:37 mark when he toasts her.

  • Guys, this is a major issue that everyone is really looking at closely... I mean 3077 hits!!! wow!!! compared to the new justin bieber video this is obviously a really important topic... I believe the government has our best intentions in mind and Big Oil is there to protect and take care of the land and environment. they employ lots of people and are actually really nice people...

  • @xgilxx Go read up! No they have profits in their minds not you! There is no documented case because no enovironmental agency is allowed to regulate the industry. The oil companies lie, some states are colluding with these companies so ofcourse there is no evidence. But go watch videos That people have posted of their own drinking water. This guy says its not new, yes but the technique they use now is new and the chemicals which they are using are dangerous. they get away because of no regulatio

  • @xgilxx if they were regulated it would make them change their ways and maybe make their operational costs slightly higher. Come on. THINK!

  • Dunkirk creek was a dumping ground for gas companies. They dumped polluted water into one coal mine as it drained into the mine next to it they pumped it into the stream as the coal company had an EPA permit, the mine is not in use except to dump contaminated waters from hydrofracking, of course there is no proof, we don't know what to test for. If it is so safe why do they not tell us what they are doing????

  • do you mean Dunkard Creek?

hmm, spelling isn't the only subject you have failed

coal bed run-off, NOT frac fluid

  • Ground water in Wyoming was polluted for 25 miles away from the drilling. Just go to google earth . You can see the drilling pads from way up. They are also leaving the ponds of contaminated water to just dry up. Are these people we can trust? No

  • He is bought and paid for....

  • Go figure Inhofe stumping for Big Oil. This is news?

  • Why doesnt the news SCREAM that the carbon dioxide scam will be subjecting the American people to an unelected cabal outside the United States who will tax each and everyone of us and industry and give it to the international bankers (World Bank) besides telling us what we can and cannot do. This is the biggest scientific hoax ever and the takeover of the U.S. to a one-world government.

  • 2004 EPA study was based on older fracking technology in use prior to 1999. Newer technology in use today HAS NOT been studied.

No documented cases because when no water testing is done prior to fracking, it is impossible to PROVE contamination. Loopholes in the laws are big enough to drive a truck through-drillers should be required to use tracers in all wells drilled so PROOF of contamination can finally be settled once and for all.

  • Maybe you should contact Texas Railroad Commission in Tarrant County and ask what type of water testing is done on well drilled in the Barnett Shale. 5,500 est. drilled in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas and no record of contamination.

  • I agree with the tracers

  • Tell them to look at Dimock, PA, for example of ruined wells.

  • Dimock, PA was from surface contamination not due to HYDRO Fracing.

  • Methan is a byproduct from drilling because they hit pockets which are then released via the aquifer. So they just proved that they can affect ground water without even trying.

  • methane = a byproduct of drilling?

    Methane is not toxic.

Methane is important for electrical generation by burning it as a fuel in a gas turbine or steam boiler. Compared to other hydrocarbon fuels, burning methane produces less carbon dioxide for each unit of heat released.

  • inhofe for president at least he has common sense

  • get'em hofedawg!

  • In 1974, the National Science Board announced: "During the last 20 to 30 years, world temperature has fallen, irregularly at first but more sharply over the last decade. Judging from the record of the past interglacial ages, the present time of high temperatures should be drawing to an endleading into the next ice age."

  • I hope there is Hell in Copenhagen, that would make people see the Coming of the NWO, the sun and Venus whorshippers agenda : Babylon 2012

  • Free hookers, limo's and a fleet of private jets to take a bunch of kleptocrats on a caviar binge surrounded by fawning admirers?

Selling your soul to the Devil doesn't sound like such a bad gig :-)

  • They have no soul left to sell, which is why they want to sell yours and your nation's instead. The UN is pure evil and has to be wound up, sooner or never.

  • inhofe i hope

he makes a big speach in front of all the 190 nations to explain to them the hoax
