Very nice fly-around, but then Ent-D was assembled at Utopia Plantia, an enclosed spacedock-type facility orbiting Mars, seen in the episode "Ship in Bottle" recreated on the holodeck, and Space Station McKinley (rather open, unimpressive spider-like design) in "All Good Things" in earth orbit.
I do have a bitch (and I'm sure you knew somebody would) -- the motion and lighting are great, but the model itself isn't even close to being hi-res enough for the closeups.
5/5. I know that the TMP sequence was rather long for those with a short attention span, but it is one of those trademarks that really represents the spirit ot Star Trek in a special way.
I think picard missed D when he was on the E,also think d looks better..and biggest mass wise

I love how the grand old lady can barely fit in that old drydock, saucer edges like 3 feet from scraping X)
Great video: good work

The Enterprise-D was the 3rd Galaxy-class spaceframe off the assembly line at Utopia Planitia.
The USS Galaxy was the prototype spaceframe of the Galaxy-class the Enterprise-D was based upon.

@Sulaco516 I thought the Enterprise-D was the second Galaxy class ship built and one of the first deployed.

The USS Yamato (NCC-71807) was the 2nd Galaxy-class off the assembly line.
The prototype USS Galaxy (NX/NCC-70637) was the first before her sister vessels came off the assembly line.

This must have been the way Captain Picard saw the Enterprise-D when he first took command.

Golly, that is a big ship it barely fits into spacedock! Excellent and well placed throughout.

Waay cool, and a great combo. Another beautiful ship to match the equally majestic music, well done.
