  • I think picard missed D when he was on the E,also think d looks better..and biggest mass wise

  • Very nice fly-around, but then Ent-D was assembled at Utopia Plantia, an enclosed spacedock-type facility orbiting Mars, seen in the episode "Ship in Bottle" recreated on the holodeck, and Space Station McKinley (rather open, unimpressive spider-like design) in "All Good Things" in earth orbit.

  • I love how the grand old lady can barely fit in that old drydock, saucer edges like 3 feet from scraping X)

    Great video: good work

  • It's absoutely perfect i've watched it 5 times and each time seems like the first it's a shining tribute to the enterprise D

  • @singleman2008red

The Enterprise-D was the 3rd Galaxy-class spaceframe off the assembly line at Utopia Planitia.

The USS Galaxy was the prototype spaceframe of the Galaxy-class the Enterprise-D was based upon.

  • @Sulaco516 I thought the Enterprise-D was the second Galaxy class ship built and one of the first deployed.

  • @chrismc410

The USS Yamato (NCC-71807) was the 2nd Galaxy-class off the assembly line.

The prototype USS Galaxy (NX/NCC-70637) was the first before her sister vessels came off the assembly line.

  • I do have a bitch (and I'm sure you knew somebody would) -- the motion and lighting are great, but the model itself isn't even close to being hi-res enough for the closeups.

  • the 'infamous' scene.

  • "My God, that's a big ship."

"Not so big as her Captain, I think." :D

  • SWEET!

A 24th Century Next Gen shout out to TMP.

  • "Mr. Rifleman... Thank You!"

  • Awesome work! Loved seeing one of my favorite Trek movie scenes with a different ship!

  • I'd love to see a JJ version of the galaxy class. this rocks!!!

  • @joshyboy1983 i dont like jjs original seriese enterprise it looked like crap

  • @joshyboy1983 R u fuckin kidding me???? A JJ version would be THE most fugilist version of any starship that motherfucker is off his rocker!!!!!!!

  • @joshyboy1983 Abrams will bastardize it to hell and back...exactly the same way he did with the TOS Enterprise...

  • That was awesome, I love the Galaxy class! Great job!

  • Omg! that actually gave me chills. Beautiful job rifleman

  • Excellent take on TMP! Great job!

  • This must have been the way Captain Picard saw the Enterprise-D when he first took command.

  • Golly, that is a big ship it barely fits into spacedock! Excellent and well placed throughout.

  • Waay cool, and a great combo. Another beautiful ship to match the equally majestic music, well done.

  • 5/5. I know that the TMP sequence was rather long for those with a short attention span, but it is one of those trademarks that really represents the spirit ot Star Trek in a special way.

  • i can't express this one my favorite orchestrated tack of all time with a beautiful shit 5/5

  • nice! you really captured the feel of TMP! well done rifleman!

  • A beautiful ship along with Jerry Goldsmith's beautiful score - well done indeed!

  • good as ever rilfe.

    10/10 for the vid
