What is the "Sawmill" tuning? I actually prefer the resonator. Don't really care what the "purists" think about it, since I have never played with them. YouTube is the first chance I've had to hear any of these songs I've been playing for the past 30 years that I learned from a book and never heard anyone play. I guess I got 'em about right.
Hello there. Thanks for posting this. "Cluck Old Hen" is a great tune! If you took your resonator off, you'd please the "purists" of oldtime more. I play this tune, too, in the sawmill tuning.
