  • See PsychFurs live any time you can. Better than ever!

  • the band's name is actually "love spit love"... and they're not the same as the Psychedelic Furs (only the Butlers remain)

  • feel like macarena...

  • At first, I thought this was gonna be sorta screwy...but it's actually pretty good! But no one can sing like Morrissey can.

  • It would have been great if The Smiths do their version of Psychedelic Furs' classic Ghost In You.

  • i love the smiths but i prefer this version...its his magical voice <3

  • without Johnny Marr to elevate it, this version falls flat as much as I love the Furs.

  • @zzyyxxo HOW SOON IS NOW . Psychedelic Furs.VS.The Smiths. Authentic

  • this is superb glorious morning tuneage alignment anodyne furrage ... LOve it thank you...

  • this is from love spit love!

  • Love Spit Love: Members

    Richard Butler

    Richard Fortus

    Frank Ferrer

    Tim Butler

  • @mmqcstl therefore: NOT THE FURS!!!

  • this is not the Furs. this is Love Spit Love. and it's SPIT not "SPLIT."

  • Yeah, great cover version.

  • I think I like this version better than the original. Vocals sound real good. It all sounds good.

  • @beelzabubba You must be kidding, the guitar of the original is stupendous

  • One of my favorite bands covers one of my favorite songs by another of my favorite bands. Yes!

  • yessssssss great original great song great band great version everyones a winner

  • Ok, I'm freaking out right now. The Smiths are my favorite group of all time (first musical love from the time I was 13 years old), and I love the Psychedelic Furs too - I never knew of this version of The Smith's song!! God bless whoever came up with youtube!!!!

  • @existentialmom Charmed. The TV show, this was their theme song.

  • It's an interesting and pleasant cover. However nothing will beat The Smiths for me.

  • Excellent cover

  • Didn't know that the Psychedelic Furs recorded this under a cover name. I can enjoy it now that "Charmed" and THE CRAFT are mercifully receding into history. (Memories of teen girls in packs cruising my friends' metaphysical stores, all because of media hype.)

  • @jrcadet4 it's not a "cover name." this is NOT the Furs. this is Love Spit Love, Richard Butler's band post-Furs breakup.

  • @mmqcstl Thanks for the clarification. I only knew the song from its use in soundtracks.

  • I fuckin love the Smiths version, but you know what? Well done by the Furs. Trust me when I say I'm a harsh judge. . . . .

  • @DJINEVIL2323 NOT THE FURS!! THIS IS LOVE SPIT LOVE. BIG DIFFERENCE.

  • Not bad.

Though The Smiths did a great job with this track.

  • I like this key better, lighter, more depth. The Smiths may have written the song, yet I like this remake better. Love the edited version from the show 'Charmed' and the film 'The Craft'.

  • i prefer this version too..his voice is epic

  • Butler really pulls it off. He sings it with a bit more venom in his voice--like I know I'm hot, so why am I being so friggin rejected.

On the other hand, Morrissey sounds near suicidal. He sounds so desperate like he's ready to jump off a bridge or something.

  • @mrsolofeo

I completely agree with you. Couldn't have said it better.

  • @mrsolofeo Really, i always thought it was a humorous song

  • @mrsolofeo And Morrissey was actually quoted as saying that he found "New Order" depressing. That's a bit like the Emo calling the Goths fingernails Black!

  • @mrsolofeo That's kind of the point. Everyone knows that The Smiths are like the proverbial melancholy band.

  • @mrsolofeo --este video é melhor.

HOW SOON IS NOW .The Psychedelic Furs.VS.The Smiths. Authentic.

  • @mrsolofeo Somewhat agree with you but I don't really see the suicidal-ness in Morissey's voice, I love this cover though :) And I think Morissey's vocals are pretty unique too! It's got something to it.

  • @BloodyKisses04 Never thought Morrissey, himself, was ever suicidal--but again, I really don't know.

But I've known guys who get so dejected and desperate like the guy in this song that they're right on the verge of suicide.

  • this trak still dose it for me it is still timeless. and long my it run.

  • Coool

  • It's one of the few covers that are awesome. I like Morrisey's better however :P

  • <3

  • I way Prefer this Version :D

  • i like this amazing sound in this version

  • Agrred! Great cover! Psyc-Furs never grow old!

  • best cover of this song! LOVE!~

  • Wow ! Best cover of this song I've heard.

  • This is the "Love Spit Love" version.

  • Nunca sabia desse cover!

  • isnt this -love spit love- version?

  • Perfect!

  • Maybe the best Smiths-Cover, indeed. Unfortunately performed to accompany one of the most terribly TV-Shows ever.

At any rate they did not use the original.

  • The best Smiths cover ive ever heard.

  • This is great - it takes that whininess out of it. Great cover!

  • i like this version.. i dont have to think of morrisey when i hear it .

  • @PHAEDRIDER Good call !!

  • @PHAEDRIDER Do you mean that in a good or bad way? cuz no one sings or embodies this song like morrissey. hes a fucking genius.

  • Positive vibe

  • very good cover.. indeed.

  • all need love no matter how hopeless their lives may seem...i can totally relate to going home alone and crying and wanting to die...takes me back to my teenage angst.
