Been there, seen that. This is the origional 11 foot close up model used in the series. It had been sitting disassembled on a pallet in the back of a storeroom at Paramount. 3 models were built of different lengths for different shots. Funny thing is that The Smithsonian does not advertise this model sitting in their own gift shop- you just kinda happen up on it.
