Honestly,

they're two completely different sounding bands,

and the fact that anybody would even TRY to compare them is beyond me.

Both bands have qualities i like, and dislike.

I love both equally,

because they're too different to compare.

For example: i love how Isaac from Modest Mouse sounds like a spaz when he sings, and i love how Ben annunciates, and just his voice in general.

Both bands are independent, different, and very likable.

I'm so thankful I found this band. Blows my old favorite (Modest Mouse) away! Although Modest Mouse is still one of the most ingenious groups ever created Issac Brock is an genius. But Ben Bridwell is an even bigger genius haha they need some long songs though with some epic solos like Modest Mouse "The Stars are Projectors." But nothing really can compare to that song very unique.
