i known to spawn a combine elite is npc_create npc_combine but it wont work when you will type this you will get an error and you will exit from the game i have do that

to get a weapon 4 ur npc type npc_create_equipment weapon_(weapon name).

so far i can get the npc to use weapons like smg1(in the weapon name),ar2,pistol,shotgun,annab­elle(the weapon father gregory is holding),alyxgun(alyx's gun) and crowbar :P hope it helps.
