yes, it does. it squeezes the pad closer to the sensor, to make it sensitive, but since the sock is a cloth, it dampens vibrations for no overhits.

it's perfectly in sync for me. And I even synced it using the audio of the internal and external cams, so unless one of the two has lagged audio it's synced perfectly.
