  • nowhere, no one shot it to the best of my knowledge.

I only taped this, desert plains, painkiller, and a bit of other songs.

  • Where can i get this on dvd boot?

  • I saw them @ the Amphitheater in Phoenix, the opened for Queensryche &IronMaiden

  • Love the song..Wish there was a better video of it.

  • I think that many many thousands will agree that Solar Angels should be a feature on their Farewell tour!! if i had 3 wishes given..this song would be one of those wishes to be played on their tour! \m/ \m/

  • Giants of Metal.

  • I got a copy of the 1981 live version on my channel

  • An epic one...

  • He must have a bad back or something, he used to run around like a madman.

  • He used to, but not much anymore.

  • @Mozzofull1 What comment are you referring to? Can't imagine why any of my comments would get this response?

  • This live track is addictive!

  • I love this track live. Ive yet to experience it live at a concert!

  • I saw them do this in 1981, and never new they did it again, GREAT TUNE.

  • Fantastic stuff!!! Solar Angels Should be an encore!!!!!!!

  • I got a copy of the 1981 live version on my channel if your interested>?

  • Thanks I appreciate that, but I got it too from the radio way back then and converted it to an mp3.

  • Thanks for sharing diopriest! maybe they'll do this on the next tour

  • awesome ive never heard this song live priest are fucking metal gods /,,//,,/

  • I will they will record this song on a next live album!

  • lets hope so!!

  • Poetic metal :D

  • wow this like ultimate marching metal .

music with serious star quality a dramatic intensity. genious . what a band.

  • I saw them in June of 2005. I woulda traded this for Worth Fighting For in a heartbeat.

  • fuck yeah i dont understand why it isnt a staple of their setlist, its a slower but still rocking number. i would have traded it for angel on their current tour in a heartbeat. someone in the band musnt like playing it

  • Agree big time!

  • The afformentioned 1981 San Diego show was at Open air theater SDSU & Big John Rendon was the leader of the break that fence brigade. There has never been a more thundering show at Open Air since. The school must have implemented noise level restrictions after that show & JP never played there again 27 years gone & they`re still puting out excellent metal got to see them at US Fest as well. I miss those days & the beer prices when a Six pack of Mickey pull tabs was about 2 dollars, Ticket 12 dol

  • Gotta agree with you. That show and Pat Travers Band were the two best I ever saw there. SRV was great at one of his shows there, but that is a different genre. Lots of good shows...but I remember the intensity of that night and them opening with this song with the lifts behind the Marshalls. A defining moment for metal in my book.

  • I remember there was a riot at the San Diego show on the POE tour. When they opened with this song a bunch of people rushed a wire mesh fence and it came down and they all ran into the show. Great show though. Except Halford pinched my ass that night after the show which was a little disconcerting.

  • hahahahah lol you're funny

  • awesome!

  • Holy shit, this is horrible Audio O.o

    JUDAS PRIEST FOR THE WIN!

  • Holy Shit !!! They played Solar Angels !!! ... Wish I was there !!!

  • Sadly, it sounds awfully, but the performance is captivating ... Thank you very much for this post. Seeing Priest on Tour in 2004 is certainly the best thing I did in my fuckin' life !!! Except good sex for sure ...

  • Saw them open with this at the Palladium in NYC on the Point of Entry Tour. It was my first Priest show...never forget that intro.

  • Need to adjust the sound levels a bit--christ!

  • Opening song back on the Point of Entry tour. It's almost not worth playing unless Rob is going to hit those notes (they define the song).

  • I wouldn't call Solar Angels a Priest song that's defined by the high notes. He pulled it off fine I thought. I didn't know they played that one on any shows of their reunion tour.

  • i dont know why, but when i listen to solar angels, i feel...nostalgic or something. It brings me back memories i dont really have and its kinda strange. But i love this song

Btw priest is the best band and point of entry is a (underrated) fabulous album

  • I'm with you all the way ! Solar angels is one of their best !

  • I think I know what you mean. I feel similar about the song. And I like the whole album, because "Point of Entry" is just so..., well, I can't really put my finger on it. Ethereal? Nostalgic? Otherworldly? Familiar? Dreamlike? Timeless? Fluent, most definitely. Anyway, interesting to read that somebody else feels the way I do about it.

  • Quite common song LIVE but really great ! I love this song. As someone mentioned earlier...Too bad the cam-mic couldn't take it....

  • saved this video with savetube.*com :D

  • My fav Priest song. Too bad it is so loud it is blowing out the camcorder's mic, but what do you expect?

  • Simply awesome! I wish I was there to yell with the crowd and ruin my chors foreva.

  • i was at this show...it was unbelievable

  • One of the most rarely heard Priest songs live.

  • I saw it live in Milwacky too.. almost wet my friggin pants

  • It's areal pleasure to hear this song again!!! I hope they will play more often cause it's a great opening song!!! JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST !!! \m/ \m/

  • This is REAL metal with a real singer. Awesome song.

  • Man, I love this song Point of Entry is so underated.

  • very true

  • Fucking kick ass!!!!!!

  • Solar Angles RULES !!

  • Gad Damn! They hadn't played this song since the Point Of Entry tour - Glad they bought it back, if only for a few shows.

  • I saw them open with this song in NYC at the palladium in 82, great tune.

  • JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST

I saw this song live in Milwaukee. One of the only other places you could ever hear it live in 2005.

  • YEA BRIAN FUCKIN PRIEST IS THE SHIT
