beautiful south were one of the finest songwriting bands of the last 25 years. they make you proud to be british. i remember their songs being so distinctly british, a little bit feisty, but always very full of love and warmth and eccentric. i found them so endearing. i'll sail this ship alone still to this day makes me a bit misty eyed.

Was wonderful to meet you all, sorry for crying, sometimes music transports you back to magical days, and the album Carry on Up The Charts, fits in my life such a special time, warm sunny days, happy memories, your performance at Wychwood was stunning, perfect music for the weather, atmosphere of Wychwood!
