Your passing was the cessation of your final pain you musical magician and Troubadour: Go in Peace. May Bert have as much rest as the joys and sweet pleasure he brought to us, who were blessed to hear him and his fine company.
When I found out he had passed away it felt like it was one of my family. My ultimate guitar hero. I met him a few times at his gigs. A very quiet unassuming man. Sadly missed
@sawabojo I have that exact model of guitar in this video after he recommended it to me. It's hand made and I got the last one off the production line before they discontinued it. Trust me when I go that thing goes with me and probably ends up in my ashes :-)
@sawabojo I wouldn't say I was any good as a player though lol but the Yamaha LL11e sounds amazing, even though it's Japanese it has a nice English folk sound. Ralph Mctell uses one too. They were good friends and they both suggested I get one. Very good advice
@ianevans67 thats a interesting point i have one myself .......and i think they are among the finest guitars built i know several people who hold that viewpoint .........i am in japan lots ( my wife is japanese) and they know how to build nice guitars a good example is IMO tokai if you play electric guitar ........RIP bert still gutted
I love the fact the guy is so in the music and its space - he can close his eyes in confidence to find it all. Thanks for posting - and RIP a great artist
A sad traditional song, sung by an honest man with a feeling.

Anyone know what guitar tuning he's using here-I thought maybe DGDGBD with a capo on the 3rd fret right?

@rodotech7
It's standard Tuning. Look closely.
