  • Actually TSP I checked the pricing for the jig and it was only 39 bucks! It looks like the entire "crown molding system" they sell is between 150 to 200. I like how solid and sturdy it looks.

  • $ 200 Bucks for this Jig. I just looked it up.

  • MAESTRO......

  • This is the way to cut crown . All you Trolls shut up !

  • you don't need any jig. all you need is years of practice. Oh you don't have years? hire someone who has years of experience

  • This guy is an expert presenter. He explains in an extremely easy to learn fashion.

  • Yeah...that's great...I'm just a DIYer so now since I've blown about 3 times the money having to make my 3rd trip to the store for more crown I'm gonna just sell my tools...

You lost me as I can't afford your 6 mill worth of saw & accessories...Thanks again for nothing!!!

  • Wow, i dont know much about carpentry but that was solid enough for me to understand!

  • Excellent video! I’ve been a contractor for 30 years and I’ll admit it I forget the little important details. This gut doesn’t miss a thing and I can find fault with about anyone but not this guy, he’s great!

  • Very good video. I watched a bunch of other videos on crown molding and yours is the only one which answers all my questions. Thank you. BTW you have a knack for teaching in front of a camera. Do you have a tv show?

  • Thank You for the PRO video tutorial !!!

  • if you learn to cope properly, you won't need this tool.

  • @wearebetterthanus The only issue with even knowing how to cope perfectly(which I do), you still waste time. With this tool I save every minute your are spending with a coping saw in your hand. Think of the return of using this after two or three big jobs. If you are paying someone else who works with you, you have saved your time and his payroll!

  • crown is mindless work. just set your saw up take the moulding from the right place the moulding upside down with the bottow side on the fence (bindcut) flip it over pull it through the saw and cut the other inside

  • I just ordered the jig and will post when I receive it and how it works for a DIY project on my homes upstairs rooms.

You can get info on the prices at cutncrown web site link all_products.php

They will ship to me here in Canada.

  • Oh my god! My head was spinning from trying to cut molding upside down inside out etc. This video makes it so easy. Where can I buy this jig?

  • @1lookiloo I just bought this at the following web page

"World Wide Web" dot "cutncrown" dot "com" back slash "all" underscore "products" dot "php"

Sorry about the way the site is written but I can not give the address in this program. Hope you can get it.

  • Why do we need the transition piece to go up or down?

  • @theknightlynews You need the transition piece so the profile of the crown will match up when you go around the corner. Without it the angle makes it impossible to make it match up.

  • Thank you for this. I was able to put crown molding up in the new baby's room in one afternoon. Corners came out darn good and the wife thinks I'm a champ!

  • Isn't there a problem with tear-out on the face of the crown when you place it face down on the jig?

  • great video where do i buy one of these jig's?

  • Expansion and compression will always happen in a home. A true craftsman will always use the coping method for an inside corner unless the angle was too shallow. This method is best if time was an issue and you had to rush through it to get it done or if you were doing it for your mother-in-law's place.

  • excellent stuff.

  • You sure make a difficult task simple. What I need is a copy of that work sheet on the wall. Thanks for the tips

  • This is the best Video Tutorial I've seen on Crown Molding. Thanks for your expertise.

  • You are awesome, showing how to make these cuts without charging. Thank you very much!

  • yeah, you kick ass! Indeed.

  • this guy is one of the few showing how pro's work without trying to sell some tool that will just take up more space in your shop. I'm a life time carpender, and you have to be perfect every time this shows how.

  • @terabon5678 I think he's selling bosch. poster jig blocks and saw are all bosch

  • @terabon5678 What do you mean his not trying to sell you any thing? He's selling the jig.

Although it does look pretty handy, I put crown in I remodel, and I'm actually going to google the jig now for prices. If it's cheap enough I'll give it a try.

  • @terabon5678 you'd think that after doing carpentry for a life time you would at least be able to spell carpenter right

  • @vivafidel Why do carpenters need to spell? I know they get graded all the time.

  • @terabon5678 except, he is selling "some tool"...

  • @terabon5678 you're a life time carpenter but still can't spell carpenter, ha

  • @terabon5678 carpender? lol

  • @MrChrisscopp1 LOL! Yeah, carpenters make more money than carpenders! Give him the benefit of the doubt and just call it a typo.

  • nice video man
