so i was looking through some papers in the kitchen when i looked up and saw a roach inches from my face on the phone on the wall. i can't bring myself to kill it, and i refuse to go to sleep and wake up and have it go missing. i will never eat another meal again. it's 12:30 am now and i'm staying in the kitchen until 5 watching it until my dad wakes up to kill it. i don't have time to get over my fear now. i just can't do it. but i can get some work done this morning & sleep tomorrow. oh god.

I'm curious to why a lot of people are scared of roaches but not many other things that most others are scared of. I'm not afraid of snakes, darkness, being alone, or even more or less death and other stuff everyone else is posting but I am of roaches. . . I think about why and I can't figure it out, just the though of one crawling on my skin makes me shivver.

My fear of roaches started with me getting ready to go to school one day. I was putting on my sneakers and when I slipped my foot inside it struck something and I had this sensation of squishing it. I took it off and this squished roach fell to the ground and I screamed like a girl and my socks was a mess. If you guys think you have it bad check this out. My 2nd job as a security guard, required me to use a bathroom, that located by the swimming pool. Which means, it's outside, and roaches can get in. I have to bring a bug spray with me, so when I come on duty, I pre-spray the bathroom, and outside of it to prevent them from wandering in. So far, I have been able to retain from actually having to use the restroom, except for the urinal. FML.
