it would be nice to be able to have a app that could come from the tablet into a 12v relay box or controler of sorts and be able to control physical things such as light switchs, coffee pots and other littel things. or better yet, a blue tooth style system that you can stick on pretty much any thing. motors, sensors, actuators. ect .ect.

@scatterformusic That is the most up to date version for the Xoom. He loaded a custom ROM onto his Xoom, and the ROM was running on ICS. There is no Ice Cream for xoom yet

@CityFlashLights My XOOM is unrooted, this is a stock ROM. If you head over to pocketnow you'll see the instructions to flash ICS on your XOOM -- no custom ROM required. Motorola hasn't released it to everyone just yet -- but you can flash it manually.

Just wondering, I recently bought an Acer A100 HoneyComb Tablet, and I love it, but when I read online about it, some people say that they have software versions 3.2.1, and even though I check for system updates, I still am stuck at 3.2. Any explanations?

@crazay1113 Thats awsome. Ohh and its not as simple as just root and you can overclock, you have to download and flash a kernel that allows the processor to be overclocked, kernels have different limits, some 1.1ghz, some 1.9 ect

I don't know if you guys have these two problems with this ics update on Xoom:

1. You can rotate the lock screen whether you have turned off the screen rotate section;

2. There is a graphic error on the back, home, and multitask buttons area - if you scroll the multitask list fast.
