i find it cute for a little girl 0-2 is cute but 3 and up it is just wrong because the babies 0-2 don't know whats going on don't car about money and there mums just take them for fun but 3+ they get self scented and only care about winning

any young dancer would have about the same amount of make-up on and the same hair pieces and curls, so everyone who thinks this is "child abuse" just shut up, you are all clearly ignorant as fuck, i started dance at the age of 5 and pageant are not that different, i wish now that i would have had a chance to do pageants as a little girl, it brings out poise and posture in a child and boosts their confidence, anyone who has something against that is stupid.

Pageants should be illegal for girls under the age of 12, if not illegal altogether. This is all about money. Some of these kids are downright homely but if they can pay the registration fee, the kid's a beauty.

AND 95% of these moms are morbidly obese and with a face that could stop a train. My stomach turns when the mothers stand behind the judges and pantomimes the little girl's routine - do they know how unattractive they are? and what''s up with that kiss on the fingertip and then outline the face. nstead of toning it down, they are really going for shock level. I'm sure you can tell I absolutely abhor little girl pageants, especially after JonBenet was raped and murdered in her own home.

What gets me is the mother spends at least 1000.00 for each pageant and if they win, WHOOPPEE 100 smackaroonies. The largest amount I ever saw was 1000.00. If they win that, they break even. And no one can ever convince me that the mothers are doing this because little susie just loves it. Nope, mama likes it cause she living HER fantasy through the daughter.
