Hi, just a quick question about your VCH. I've been planning to get one since August, but I just feel like I need more info before I do it. I know it's personal, but did you do sea salt soaks or the "leave it alone" method? I've been consulting with a piercer about it, and she suggests saline wipes, but I just feel like that might not be enough. I think I'm more worried about it getting infected than I am about the actual pierce :-)

@Mblitz1023 if you're careful of how you speak it wont be seen. once it's healed in a month you can then wear clear retainers during the time you teach and change it to colors in the evenings if you want :)

How much more did your conch hurt more than your Tragus ? Because I have my Tragus and it didn't hurt that bad and now that I see the conch I kinda want that and my double helix which I want because I've had j one helix.

@monkeyzzonfire my tragus was probably a 2 or 3... my conch was like a 6 or 7 getting it pierced but the healing was AWFUL for me. 2 straight weeks of intense pain and swelling :( but it was definitely worth it cuz i love mine now!

I know piercers dont recommend getting no more than 2-3 piercings done at once due to possible increase in infection. Did you get any piercings done at once and everything was perfectly fine?

@LotusBookWorm i got my conch and VCH at once, and both of my dermals at once. mostly thats for one specific location, they dont like doing more than 3 ear piercings at one time because of the swelling, or tongue more than 2 at a time...

i can't get my tragus to heal for nothing! It's soo annoying. Probably gonna end up taking it out. It's only gonna be 6 months and i keep getting bumps and one darker bump on the front that WILL NOT GO AWAY! =( All your piercings are cute though. :)

@Hencha06 like i said, mine took about 8 months to heal. you just have to clean it properly and it should heal. Have you watched my "how to heal bumps and bubbles" video? that should make the bumpy go away :) AND KEEP CLEANING IT! it will never heal if you dont clean it :)

@makemeup22xo the conch you get usually use a very short tongue ring... (brand new and clean!)... you will probably have to order offline. it's just a 1/2" 14g straight barbell, no particular name

@93nenita watch my conch videos.... i have like day 1, day 2, day 3... it got superrr bad on day 3 and the swelling lasted 2 weeks. i ALMOST took it out the pain was so paid, and im really good with pain. but DONT take it out, it's so worth it. just clean it regularly.

This video is really making me want to get my tragus but I don't know if it'd suit me...

Is it easier to deal with than helix? Because I got my helix in end of 2009 and in july 2010 i took it out because it never healed even though I did everything the piercer told me etc. I think my hair and clothes always got caught and that's what irritated it. So is tragus easier to deal with in the sense that hair doesn't get caught, but does clothing get caught on it? Sorry for repetitions but yeah :)

@TheOneAndOnlyMe92 tragus is more hidden and not as exposed. it healed faster than my helix. though any cartilage piercing takes up to a FULL year to heal. mine both took about 9 months. (i have a "cartilage piercing info vid" that talks about ALL of that!!)
