I hate how much the players just wipe out on the ice and how many times they just drop their stick after a hit.. and broken sticks is annoying how many times a game do you see a broken stick or a shot going off the goal post? not every game has that..

1. Not so many broken sticks. It's sooo unrealistic

2. Stop the computer from throwing himself (LB+RB) for a diving pokecheck giving your opponent penaltyshot or 2min minor.

something that would be great would be having either all the khl teams (would never happen realistically) or possibly ncaa teams with no names on the back of the jerseys. both would be extremely difficult but on the other hand they have college fb games. and also, world juniors and other iifh sanctioned tourny's. they added the chl and are adding more minor leagues each year so something like what i mentioned could be seen in these games down the road

i think the overall's of players should mean something especially the goalies.. each have their own styles and all can make the big save but all the goalies are designed to be the same... they really need to try and work on the personality of the players.. I don't like the second rule with the goalies attacking the players like thomas poorly attemped... id get pissed off lol

as well as when some one runs your player or goalie in an elegal way or a dirty way you have the option to go after him, there are so many things they could do you could go on for days

and then for the last idea have it where there is a heat metre or anger metre and once it gets full and there is a fight you have the option to push a button to start a line brawl where the goalies can fight as well and you can pick and choose between which fight you want to be a part of, they used to have that in mlb games when the bar was full you could charge the mound, but for nhl it would be better, just some idea let me know what you think.

nhl11 has improved alot but for 2012 like most people a winter classic is a must since we now have one every year, an all star skills competition would be a good idea to but have all the skills events and not just 2 or 3 like nhl 2k, breaking of the glass would add realism but only for hard hits, better openings for the games as well as the stanley cup celebration make it like it was for nhl 2004 it was the best for that, expand on the chl be able to play more then one season,

NHL 10 , had 5 minute major, and game misconduct. NHL 11, has some improvements, but there are glitches in this game has well. the new CONSOL ARENA in PITTSBURGH, the commentators call MELLON ARENA. and WHERE are the outdoor games? or the check thru the glass, or into the bench.

NHL 11 is amazing,but for nhl12 to be perfect,they need the actual arenas,and the mascots and all of the traditions in each arena,they also need to find a way to get the real international jerseys

heres an idea what about the winter classic games. Example once a season in be a gm mode lets say, a gm can qualify his team for a winter classic. Like we can experience outdoor game play (like snowfall and ice conditions) by ice conditions a mean maybe a more lively puck so it bounces on outdoor play. i mean it would be cool to have an outdoor experience in a NHL game. thats my opinion

I don't mind the fight engine in nhl 10, but I think what EA should build off of is the engine used in NHL 07. IMO, the best fighting they've ever had in a game.

I think when your in the penalty box you should have fun control of your player.. you should be able to beat/slash the penalty box camera, throw a towel over it and throw stuff or slam the door.. you should also be able to argue with the refs.. also, with the complete control i think you should be able to have control while on the bench like look around and get water and stuff and have complete control in the dressing room in intermissions and before and after the game

i just would be happy if chara wasnt as fast skating backwards as marleau is forwards... -.- this is pissing me off so badly.

they should also bring in a real snapshot. its the most just shot in the game and the one in NHL 10 is just so weak. and finally: make the goalies more realistic. let them do mistakes from time to time. improve the rebound physics and make it possible to score on more situations then a cross-crease pass.

This probably won't happen, but I hope you can choose which year to start in and have the rosters from that year. Also why in NHL 06 they had the real coaches and said lines about them and in NHL 10 it is just some random guy that is identical to every other coach. You should have the real coach or be able to hire a coach.

i wish the game is like nhl 2004. where it was about making plays and encouraged teamplay. it was just a funner game to play, as opposed to the newer nhl games with cheesy features= broken sticks and where one timers are the goals that go in most of the time. honestly, the new nhl games are more for the younger generation.

i had an idea yesterday..tell me what you guys think.. when defending against the boards, you gota be a lot more careful as to not hit from behind.. if you do you can get suspended for 3, 5, 10 games wahtever..EVERY TIME you check into the boards you gota do it 'correctly' or else suffer a major penalty, game misconduct, susepension..etc.

They have had goal review in the a video game before so I do not see why it can't be done again. They used to have a goal in the crease review so I am sure they can just extend that into different aspects of the game.

Isnt broken glass already in the game? on 06-09 it was in 10 i never mashed anyone so hard it would break.. more dangles coming.. aaand what i would like is that the goalie could fall because of too much people standing and pushing on the goal trying to hit the puck in our out.. if u get what i meant..

@sniperstar yes you can, Its like MLB the show games, the umpires miss some pitches that could be strikes but are called balls and visa versa. In hockey the referee could think that the puck didn't cross the line or something like that and then he goes upstairs to see if he was right

@PTpredsfan They have a between leg move in 10 it is kinda inconsistent but it works if you are using a righty like Alex Ovechkin then hold the right stick at about 5 O' clock then L1 (LB) to start the loose puck move and it should go through his legs he has a high enough dangle rating.. Tell me how it goes
