  • hey what kind of exhaust system do you have on it and where did you buy it??? my exhaust just cracked and im loving how urs sounds :D

  • funny how they keep the bonnet opener on the left hand drive while the seat is converted into English right-hand drive xD just ask the passenger if he/she'll open the bonnet for ya..Is it with all European cars that go to the UK ??

  • 1.8 bar is stock right?

  • @YouSuckS4life 1.7 in total but I think he ment 1.3 overpressure and not total. 1.3 is a bit much for the stock head and headgasket though. Id never go over 1.2 myself but Id rather stick at around 1.0 or 1.1.

  • Does the hood make a difference in cooling/under hood temps? Before and after?

  • i want a right hand drive 951 here so bad

  • Very nice I have a 924S i'm about to sell (or perhaps upgrade). I Have a Mazdaspeed 3 (MPS) that I now sink my money into.

What kind of suspension upgrades do you have on this track-focused beast?

  • Oh fuck I spelt cavalier wrong!!! Bring on the abuse, I'm going to do my Velcro shoes up and walk into the sea.

  • You answered most of the questions asked, I was disappointed your not a dark lord. However I did see in the previous video someone also spotted the vauxhall chevalier in the background. This wasn't addressed in video 2, disappointing to say the least maybe you could make a video just for that? My mate Dave had one that did 150mph his was white though not red, so I bet that ones faster. Oh and the Porsche looks great, nicely done I'll buy you a Leff Blonde if I see you at the ring.

  • I think if you paint the scoops in the hood they will look great

  • Great looking car! Just wondering where you got the rear spoiler, I need to replace the stock rubber thing that's on mine.

  • hello there. Loving the 944. Guess you've sold it now? I have a Honda S2000 but seeing these come down so much in price I am tempting to sell and have one of these to keep me occupied! What wheels are those? Usual 911? Are they spaced at all to fill the arches or just standard? Thanks.

  • Wow, reading some of the comments in here...you wonder how some people tie their shoe laces....

  • Can you send me some pictures of the car with the orange wheels on it.

  • I'm not trying to be rude or mean. But where is your kit from? I couldn't quite understand you. Great 944!!! Love the colors. Keep up the good work.

  • also where did you happen to get that wing from?

  • You can see the vents on my video titled

    'Porsche 944t/951 GO 952 w 5 inch exhaust. Aug 2010.wmv'

See how the slot is positioned to extract rather than ingest air at about the 2min mark.

  • Comment removed

  • Rick, you've actually got the hood vents on backwards sorry to say. They are designed to extract hot air out of the engine bay rather than cool air in. I have the same D9 vents and I can definitely see hot air rising when I've gone for a run. Having said that, the slots are pretty large so you will get some extraction after you've come into the pits.

I've got the kit coming so I'll post some video once done.

  • Out of breath, sounds like you smoke!

  • The 924 2.0T is even older :) 8V...K26.

the body kit looks great...dont ever change anything...its simply perfect !

  • I love the car! I'm looking forward to part 3. Nicely done Rickware, I'm taking notes for my upgrade list ; )

  • the car looks fantastic !! i love that kit.

but arent you being a bit pesimistic on the 310 hp at 1.3bar? i mean...its a 2.5L...i'd expect that power from my 2.0T at less pressure...but from a 2.5 i'd expect much more.

is it a turbo S or a regular turbo?

  • @PorscheAddict The 2.0T is far more advanced with Direct Fuel Injection, Dual Overhead Cams, 4 valves per cylinder and variable valve timing and lift which allows it to have a higher compression ratio of 10.5:1 or 10:1 which was unthinkable 20 years ago. All that technology also allows to run a bigger turbo by moderation, without getting too much lag while the 2.5L is much more susceptible to lag the bigger the turbo is. Stock K26/6 Turbo maxes out at like 280-300whp.

  • Body kit looks like it's coming off...

  • i'd like to come on a trackday with you, theres a few of us that go to lydden hill alot, and have some quick cars & some cameras. I do plan on do other tracks next spring/summer, (poss spa) If your interested drop me message on here and we'll arrange something.

  • pliz part 3!!!

  • seeeexy

  • omg, i LOVE YOUR PORSCHE!!! you should make more videos!!! im gonna build myself one to look just as badass!

  • What the fuck! I wanted to see you drive the motherfucker not talk about it. BOOOOOO!!!! this video stinks!!!!

  • @Zombyrider Tallywacker

  • This is an astonishing 944!

But i would like to know the brand of the arch kit. I know you mention it in the video but i did not understand the name.

Continue the good work on that car!

  • I have to congratulate you on this car because it looks fantastic!

  • How did you start the car with out clutching in?

  • @supercooled in neutral duh

  • @elvee88 Umm, this isprobably an automatic then. You need to engage the clutch to start a MT car.

  • @supercooled no, my new 6speed manual Alfa Romeo Mito 6speed manual doesnt, however my old Chrysler Neon did. Its a non essential safety feature. A lot of new cars do have that feature, so that you wont destroy the startermotor. This old porsche probably never had that. Besides, you can see its a manual.

  • @elvee88 oops heavy typos, you get what im saying tho hopefully.

  • @elvee88 Didn't realize there were MT cars that could do that. I guess it's only Europe because in Canada all the MTs that I know of need to clutch in.

Wow that's a tight road. That BMW had to make a stutter turn to make that corner. Of course it i didn't help that the Porsche was blocking them as well :) I bet driving big SUVs like that X5 is hard in tight areas.

  • The vents are from D9 and they are indeed on backwards, sorry to say. With your vented nose panel taking air in as well as the stock vents in the front nose piece, you want those vents to help extracting the heat, not restricting the heat from getting out.

I have looked at the Broadfoot kit many times and may yet still use it as it's very cheap for what you get.

Running big spacers on your front wheels can also be unsafe. That is if they are spaced.

    What cage is that also?

    Nice car overall.

  • What size tire wheel combo? Do you have larger than stock spacers...the wheels have very little off set yet fill the wheels perfectly. Stunning car.

Did not find that wing on Broadfoots web site.?

  • i like the car but was best loking ith the orange rims and the BTW the hood looks werid for me but great project i love your Porsche

  • @jupaisgt I agree with your comments on the bonnet as I don't like them either but they are needed as it gets too hot on track days and looses power. once i upgrade the intercooler to cope with the heat then i will be replacing with a fibre glass one!

  • props man, props. sweet car. im not fond of the hood/bonnet. u should put more vids. keep up the great work, your car makes me want a 944 so much more.

  • air intakes in the bonnet are placed in reverse, are to take the air, not to put him!

  • whats the thing you said wouldnt let your car turn on..mobilizer?? i would really like to know, thanks

  • great looking car....

  • excellent looking car, all the right bits on it. Props to you mate.

Would love to see more pics. Great source of information.

    Great ride!!

  • Looks so good. Though I wonder what it would look like if a bodyshop tried to blend the tops of the side skirts with the rear quarter flares?

  • @ApexIXMR i've wondered that myself but they aren't side skirts but part of the rear flares. if you cut them you will have large holes to fill and they may hit the wheels when the suspension is compressed

  • probably the most beautiful 944 turbo on youtube.the car shows an owner with a lot of taste!well done mate!best regards from sweden!

  • Beautiful work!
