@anjuliet amen anjuliet. They never got the full attention they should have gotten, with this song.
The best they did and this from a life long Flock fan. P.S. Anjuliet.... "dont try to tell me that theres left to hide, ""nothing inside"", ...so hard to break the disguise....hold on to your heart" my friend. ;o)
Actually, I still remember the song I first heard from them (The More You Live, The More You Love) - must've been 7 or 8 years old. Another one of my all-time favorites (love the video)! Add Space Age Love Song, Nightmares and Who's That Girl (She's Got It) to the list, too!
I think they're a lot more appreciated now than they were then. They're seen as pioneers - I don't think New Wave would've taken off if it wasn't for them. A great band and my favourite song from them :D
My first concert was A Flock of Seagulls at Pine Knob, outside of Detroit. Very happy to find these clips. I once had it on VHS after they aired this as a Saturday night concert. Is there more to this show?
Saw AFOS when they supported Altered Images in Newcastle 1982 they were brilliant. This is a class class song. Yes the music sounds poor but you have all sorts of gizmos these days to boost even live songs, look at the X-Factor lot there shite really.
I'm MADLY IN LOVE with all the people from the 80s posting here. It makes for a very cozy atmosphere. I wasn't around then, and I've regretted it ever since I was one second old. I knew something felt wrong coming out.
coolmate. Good. Made me smile and thats hard to do. Yes thin king persons songs. Sensitivity, feeling. Im glad i wasnt born a pychopath coz i then wouldnt feel anything much. maybe.
Whatever kind of bass frank is using, it just don't sound good. He needs to be using that other one he has. does anyone know what kinda bass is in this video?
"I live experienced and was impressed the volumes at the 18.12.1982 in that Dortmund Westphalia hall at that time very. The LP's IT and Maxi's it I put on today yet gladly. Would damage that the volumes in the new occupation does not appear in Germany in the near future. Very would please me."
Hey, ur so right, my bunch used to wear 501's with legs sewn tight and then wear our penny loafers, we thought we were so "choice" We wore flourescent everything socks, skinny ties and bows in our hair. A bunch of my friends had the "Paul" haircut, even me. LOL! Just fun to remember the eighties! Paul was fun to watch! and I thank you for noticing particularly my comment. Have the best day ever! xoxo-Meda
Great!, Smashing!, Super! - excellent posting!... the most underrated band of the 80's - Saw them live in Newcastle supporting Altered Images in 1983...they were shit hot!!

To me, a flock fan, this is the best song they actually ever did. this should be the song that they are known for.
Not knocking I Ran, alot of memories with I Ran, but as far as songs go, this one is the best they ever did.
God Bless all of the 80's bands that brought so much good music for the youth to enjoy.
