Wow, It's been a while since I've heard someone say to chill the bowl first. That's absolutely right. It's something you don't need to do, but it sure does help. It's also very important to make sure that the bowl and any untensils are clean.
@newfful No it isn't stupid at all. You can make it by hand so a blender should work to. I have never done it but as long as it whips air into the cream it should work. Try it and let me know.
Hi quick question. Can I use this to spread on a stacked cake? I am making a doll cake for a party and no one wants the traditional butter cream. Would I need to stabilize the whipped cream?
@Cyneere I use it on cakes all the time but you need to keep it refrigerated. Make sure your bowl and the cream are cold so you get a nice firm cream that will hold up when you frost the cake. Keep in mind that if you are going to color the cream you have to keep it refrigerated as you use it. So say you want to do white and pink. Cover the cake in the white while the pink is in the refrigerator. Then do your decorative pink and refrigerate the cake until ready to serve. Enjoy!
@Satin311 You can only leave it out for about 30 minutes before it will get too warm. Keep them refrigerated until you want to serve them. When I make a cake I refrigerate it until I am ready to serve it them I take it out and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
@OhMyOranges1 Stage Name? No it's my nickname. My nephew started calling my Sugar ever since he could talk and it stuck. Now that is what my family and friends have called me for years. You can call me Arlene ;)
@bruizer1100 Yes but I don't recommend whipped cream for a bikini. If you want that look you should try shaving cream. It holds up better. Whipped cream melts too quickly. :)
@Irocenia Thanks for your feedback. I do get some silly comments now and then and I just roll with it. At my age you learn that some people just never grow up. :)

oh wow, such a nice video! and your whipped cream is real whipped cream! I just tried it and oh my god, it turned into butter, and i'm like WHAT.. actually i used a blender, and i kept blending it because i didn't get the consistency..i used FRESH CREAM and POWDERED SUGAR. Can i know why i didn't get the real whipped cream? PLEASE, i hope you reply!! :)
@devpongo93 Hi, You just whipped it too much. Don't use a bleder use an electric mixer with beaters and it will be perfect. I make it every Sunday to have with dessert for our family meal. Even the kids make it. Enjoy! Sugar
@CookingwithSugarTV Oh alright. Well i'm sort of a kid too, haha. 18. Anyway, that was so sweet of you to reply. Thank you so so so much. I WILL try it for sure :)
Thank you Sugar for this great video!! I checked a bunch of other videos for making whipped cream but none of them said the measurements for vanilla, sugar or cream! Your video was detailed and very easy to understand. Thanks!!!
@MissTagaloa Since I don't live on a farm so I do need to buy the cream from the store. :) If you have your own cow and fresh cream you are one lucky lady. Some day I do hope to have enough money to have my own farm but until then I have to buy from the market.
@kidsreview1 Hi, you can serve it with the cheesecake and add it when you serve it but I wouldn't cover the cheesecake with the cream because it may get mush. I store it in the refrigerator in a plastic container and it lasts for a few days.

@jenz270 You can use a large whisk and do it by hand it will just take longer. An electric hand mixer works very well too.
