@MrDnB89 if you had the power to make us love an entity we should also fear you would; so don't complain if we take our liberty to say whatever we want by looking at the evidence. To say that a bearded man in the sky created everything in 7 days is ridiculous and the fact that so many people take it literally is saddening but also empowering because it gives us something to do: namely, provide a healthy distance towards a book written by people who we never knew and will never know.

@coxac1 well we all believe in atheism as a cause, in the same sense that we believe in science, and in the way that I believe in using garlic and olive oil more in cooking. However its clear she was trying to equate the belief that atheism is a rational position to the belief that god exists, which is what they always try to do, and will never succeed in doing. You can't call an apple, and orange no matter how many times you wish it so.
