Well my opinion is that i prefer the DSG into city because of the huge traffic and the manual is uncomfortable because you have to change froma first to second gear all the time.......But with the manual transmission you feel the car better and you have a constant comunication with it.also you can play with it better.but that is my opinion.

Well, DSG is fine for me.

If he drives in a city like I do, the stop-start traffic makes the Manual box is hell to live with.

But he's right about the interior. The is boring. Fugly even. Even if quality, is top notch , which again, I disagree with him.

Does he think he's sitting in a rolls or something? LOL

You can't say that an auto is boring, especially worlds current #1 DSG. Says manual gb is more fun. I wonder if they've driven a scirocco with a manual for that comparison?

You can't say that the car isn't successfull from every angle, everyone have their own taste. Especially when you put in cons that it has striking looks.

my own opinion is that i would prever DSG for everday life compared to all other automatics), but it is true: manualis much more fun. and i am young and just wanna have fun while driving cars.

maybe automatics are much more comfortable but there aren´t better than manual in every way. manual can be faster and much more economical, it is all about the driver. but the most ones doesn´t realy mind how they drive (changing gears etc.) so for they automatics is better. i don´t know where you guys are from, i´m from germany and here automatics and especially DSG is very expensiv, up to 1,500-2000 euro over base price.

And i dont like the way that car shows (top gear, fifth gear, etc) always promote manual transmission as the best choice, say that manual is the real driver's choice. This is nonsense. If you are not buying the car for racing and speeding, why manual?? Cause only that is where manual is better (racing) . If you are into racing, buy manual. If you are just an average person who drives to work, college, get an auto, more practical. This is just my opinion, so dont post idiot comments at me.

I dont get this thing about saying that automatics are boring, we always prefer manual..bla bla...you have to understand than not everyone is buying cars for speeding and racing. The auto is a great choice and not a bit boring for someone that just drives his car to work...its really practical if you ask me.

DSG is very up to opinion so don't depend on it Manual feels more involved and thats pretty much ppl argue about. DSG is quicker (ppl are up to numbers on paper these days). This hatchback/coupé is another success along CLS combination idea , very cool unlike X6 which is catastrophically pointless.

i have driven one.  you don't feel the changes and it shifts up n down faster than the manual. for something you feel working, its worth every penny.
