Thanks friend. I am also one of those in the generation that grew up watching black and white movies w/o television; We laughed at Amos and Andy on the radio, Fred Allen, Red Skelton and all the other entertainment when comedy meant great humor without filth or entendre. What happened to our once great country? Tolerance! Tolerance seduced us into thinking that accepting evil was a kindness.
Nice metaphor! I kind of get nostalgic watching this vid -- I'm barely old enough to remember playing cowboys & Indians, but not old enough that it seems real, just seems so remote & foreign from the America I know now.
Thanks, ER. I think these came from the Sat. Matinee in the 40s. My uncle had some of these 16mm films in his collection. Most of them had deteriorated beyond use.I was surprised to find out he liked "palestinian" music. I think I have the National Athem, "Deep in the Heart. " I'll see if I can work that one up.
