I would definitely watch a live stream, but it would help having information in advance on what characters you are going to play, what server, empire vs republic, etc. I'm assuming we would be able to join you in game in some fashion but let me know if this assumption is wrong.
Just started watching your videos - well done I must say.
I gotta admit that me and my roommate have seemingly faced a bit of fatigue - though ours stems from a bit more of our disappointments we face with the game so far.
Namely the clothing options and availability and certain class and race (read twilek and hoods) issues. As well as gathering bugs and such.
We're still enjoying the game but I must say I'm still wondering if we are going to lose our steam with the game.
I think you can get faigued from any genre, but SWTOR is the first MMO I've played that has been able to replicate the story experience similar to what you experience in a first-person game (like Half Life, Fallout, etc.).
My impression is that Bioware spent all of their time and money on the great story line, voice acting, and light side, dark side system. They did not push the genre in other ways (PVP, crafting, etc.). It's a great game, but only groundbreaking in a few ways.
Right now, there are a lot of Founders, but people that start playing a few months from now won't get the title.
I agree with Froogle's analysis on performance 100%. I have a high-end machine but performance has gotten worse for me. I suspected that they broke it for high-end machines in order to make it playable for lower-end machines. It sucks.
about the Legacy system... You still gain Legacy xp at 50... Alt or no alt, if your playing, raiding, doing lvl 50 FP's or the dailyes, you still gain legacy xp... So alt or no alt, its just how much you play.
hey froogle and lumberjack if you guys play guild wars 2 i would i love to play with you and please do a livestream i can watch someone other then towliee!!!!!!
@starstriker444gaming Lol - well we are in line for Guild Wars 2 yes, and we will be ramping up our streaming efforts very soon, real life permitting.
if you want to see a new type of mmo you may want to check out guild wars 2. its not out yet but its shaping up to be a very different type of game.....plus after you buy it there is no subscription fee!
I think maybe some of the fatigue may come from not *doing* anything different. From what I've seen, you guys haven't really tried out most of the classes. In order to not get bored, you have to expand what you do, and not let things drag you down. Also, once you start getting to the end, and after Act 1, things get more fun, a little harder, and very interesting, especially the higher flashpoints.
I would spam your chat filter if you made it a livestream. And.... There are sooooo many comments I could make on EVERYTHING you both said. The main point I want to make is to Lumberjack is that, every game is a genre, there's only a select few genres with play styles that can only be so unique. It's like going to watch Horror movies over and over, it's the same plot over and over. And I've played wow since Vanilla (Mainly when BC came out) and I love SWTOR to death.
@dreethlerg SWTOR is new, of course the play style isn't, but neither is Battlefield 3, or Modern warfare 3, but SWTOR brings in a depth and a feeling that I never really felt in wow, which is that my decisions actually reflect my standing upon the galaxy and upon my companions. I am drawn into my character more-so than I ever was in WoW, Bioware has brought the RPG into the MMORPG genre and THAT'S what has sold me.
@dreethlerg you are very right. I think that the problem I have with the MMO genre is that we put so many hours and days and years into a virtual character, and it has meaning. But when you do a new game and end up building from ground zero again, I guess I could say I don't have the heart for it. your horror story analogy works great. But what I am saying is, a horror story is 2 hours, and a good MMO can last you two years or more. I think when I'm at my second/third go-around on the MMO genre
@Lumberjack33x I feel like it can be difficult to stay motivated on something I have done before. I feel the same way about a horror movie, but its not as bad because its a 2 hour experience that has a beginning and an end. you could cover all of the other genres of games and movies the same way, because they are shorter experiences than MMO's. Its just the months and years I put into an MMO that make the experience 'tiring' to repeat. I hope the fatigue fades though!
@Lumberjack33x Excellent point, I don't think I would of even been able to buy SWTOR if blizzard didn't make hunters suck in PvP and mostly in PvE where they can't even reach the top DPS (My character since vanilla :( ) And I just didn't want to play him anymore because every class was so much better. And sometimes I just sat there looking at all my achievements on my hunter, and just thought "Wow, this game really has been my life for the past 7 years." It was like an epiphany.
@dreethlerg So I understand full well about how difficult it is to switch, it's like I'm losing the past 7 years of my life's history (Well, about 15% of it), but I am glad that there is something new, and I'm looking forward to all the experiences just waiting in SWTOR

I haven't reached level 50 for my main character either. I switch between alts when I start to get bored of one story line.
It's also fun to switch between Empire and Republic since the story lines are very different. You get to see the same events from both sides.

Live streaming is cool. Scheduling will be the primary issue. Look at your viewer demographics before you decide the showtime.
