  • I want to know if there some real hip hop heads out there...what sample did that hook comes from? Who was the producer of that track?

  • @Rieff01 Ok...it's DJ O. Gee and I think the sample is Patrice Rushen "Where There Is Love"? Is that right? I had this cassette back in the day...crazy to think I had just turned 15 when this classic joint dropped.

  • @rsibert12 Production: O Gee | Sample: Weather Report - American Tango | Chorus/Hook/Phrase Sample: Intro - Funny How Times Flies. Peace and Bless!

  • Sendin this to my girl letitia..love you baby..muah <3

  • i use to think about some special when i heard this...but she busted my heart in millions of pieces...so i say fuck love...

  • I still can't get over why this song wasn't given a video. It would have been a perfect radio hit for him and it's not on some sell out shit either. Maybe he wouldn't have went the route he decided to go on the album(which I refuse to name) after Jewelz. I was so pissed off to pick that album up to hear him fall victim to the way rap was going. O.C and Jeru were my fav rappers back in 96 & 97. They need to go get a premo produced album. Fuck the bullshit. Just venting a bit, I miss this shit.

  • @Igotcha05 , LOL you talking abour Bon Appetit! don't worry he redeemed himself with smoke n mirrors & an album he did with AG called Oasis!

  • Remember ridin the train to this joint and seein a nice chick and would sit beside her and told her I had a joint for her to hear. She put on the headphones and was diggin it. Got her number....SMASHED! lol! *Miss her*

  • Mann Fuck only if OC could have made it like Pac and all the other legends; to me is truly a hip hop Legend

  • which r&b singer/group sang the chorus on this...reminds me of intro

  • @loserpin32 It's Intro. Buckwild sampled Intro's "Funny How Time Flies"

  • @Spillberg yep...and the main organ loop is "american tango" by the weather report

  • This sounds like it could've been a great choice single.

  • Man, love this song. The beat is sick, so are the lyrics... Love it.

  • than what's goin on this dayz we got wheelz at the top of the charts

  • Woah, I love the 2 Ogee-produced tracks in this album (this and 'You and Yours'), strictly hardcore tracks... I can´t stop listening to them. The rest of the album is also dope, and Word...Life... woah, that's another level, man

  • @Daman4ever81 hell yeah this shit hella slaps

  • @Daman4ever81

I know your comment is 2 years old. But tis beat is just that: Soft and soulful, and on top is the chorus. You are contradicting yourself. I know the majority of beats are hard, but this one is NOT.

  • @Deekstercph haha i was thinkin same thing when i read his comment

  • kk dude ill tell him at da next famliy reunion

  • i was 3 when dis came out my dad listened to all underground and i remember noding my head in the back seat to this all the time cause my pops played this 24/7

  • this song is so dope... who the hell is OC and why is he not popular? man this MC has some skillz

  • O.C. stands for Omar Credle wich is his name. and why is he not popular? nowadays people want to hear the fake ass rubbish you hear on the radio nowadays. thats why this guy never really blowed up like he should i think

  • yeah, nowadays kids like to hear rhyming (usually not) directions to a dance...or lies

  • @The900Number I always wonder and wish if these underground rappers blowed up crazy, but i cant picture it cuz soft ass mainstream listeners cant handle this shit, u no?

  • @The900Number I have Word...Life. Is Jewelz better?

  • @bonis317 He's a legend among Hip Hop heads... there are underground rappers that are way more underrated, and Omar is sitll underrated to death. It's a disaster how much dope Hip Hop is completely unknown

  • oc?.everybody knows.oc,gangstarr,main source...'90s.i don't know today what is popular...to me o.c. is most popular
