TOTEM - Cirque du Soleil

Saw this yesterday at Albert Hall, And I think one of The best Cirque Du Soleil Shows there are. Amazing costumes, Expectational Music and of course the Acrobatics are out of this world. There where a Few clown parts but all Of the Shows they hold have clowns and silly acts in, just to make the audience laugh and Have a good Time. I was very Happy and Was fully gripped all the way through. If anyone ever has a chance to go and see Totem, Please take it as it is the best show I have ever seen.

Saw this at Albert Hall London yesterday £70.00 each for tickets.... If you have seen any other Cirque productions then don't go to see this as you will be so disappointed Artists with no amazing make up or costumes, the very thing one expects from cirque. Too much wasted time with silly clowns. What set there was , amazing as usual. What costumes there were, excellent. Musicians and singers , fabulous. But where was the spectacle. i find it strange that no one has criticized the obvious evolution theme. and though i love cirque du soleil, and am an atheist, i'm personnally turned off by it mostly bc i know it'll draw controversy, and honestly all i think of when i think of evolution is the pointlessness of our existence, and the aggressive behavior the idea provokes. humans have enough to kill eachother over....

still, i'd like to see this show. or any cirque show, but sadly their dvds appear to be quite rare....

Saw this show last spring in Holland, and it really was great!!!!

Unbelievable what they do with their bodies.

Not forget to mention the thematic music, costumes, scenery and storytelling. It really is a true source of creative inspiration!

Just saw this. Good show But not my favorite cirque show. I felt like the first half dragged and the second half was short. Did not like the clowns. Something was missing But still really worth seeing. Even not great for Cirque is still pretty dam amazing.

@ritsfata I have to say O is my favorite but La Nouba in Disney runs second. I think that we get spoiled on the shows that are in the bigger permanent venues. Of the Road shows Varikai is wonderful. If I were to "re do" Totem I would use better Clown segments... and I think more could be done to highlight the Hoop dancer in a more grand way.... but I must say.. the high point of the show.. was the lovers on the swing.. ( in yellow) that was tremendous..!
