I to am a fan of the Disney movies, especially the princess movies. As, I told a friend of mine when I heard of the movie, I told him that I never really thought about the princesses not being black, never thought about their race at all, I just loved the stories. However, I do think that it's interesting that so many people can name the other 3 or 4 main female characters that were of color. It is nice to be able to look at stories you love and be able to see yourself too.
