Idk who runs this Full Gospel Channel but i want Rev. Murray to be encouraged to keep preaching like this... This is the truth whether we like it or night. We have to lift up a standard of holiness and we cannot bow down. I love this kind of preaching and i thank God for it. I dnt even know how to express myself. Im listening to this message and bubbling inside. The bible says that charity rejoiceth in the truth!!!! Thank God for this and Elder... KEEP PREACHING. I LOVE IT

@vfieldsone first of all many people dont attend church anymore because they dont want to change, we are living in the last days, Paul had talked about this when he had send a letter to Timothy, he said in the last days men will be haters of truth and haters of God, they will not want to hear the real gospel but they will want for people to lie to them. and yes its through Grace that we are saved but you have to walk in sanctification brother, you cant be living in sin no more.

There is nothing about our minds that is holy! We wouldn't have a need for a Savior. That's likely the reason you have a problem with what Bishop Murray is preaching. You don't want to stop doing what God says is sinful and would rather come up with your own tailor-made version of Christianity that fits your lifestyle. If you don't want to follow God completely, be man enough to admit and follow your way! God still loves you, but He sent His son so that you don't have to pay for those sins

Who is it that you follow if you don't follow, if you don't follow those before you. There's no way you can be a minister!  That's a biblical term and you don't follow the bible, you follow God. Let me help you understand something...The bible is a collection of writings from prophets, teachers, and lay men inspired by God to record their experience. These writings are to help those who come behind to understand what, when, where, who, and how. It doesn't make writings not included, invalid.

Just like any other religion or society, they use the writings of those before them and follow them. Otherwise, you'd keep reinventing the wheel. I don't know who your spiritual leader is, but it would behoove you to allow God to help you deal with your past hurts so that you don't operate out of the hurt instead of a pure hurt that is able to hear the truth. It is not fruitful for me to debate with someone who is void of understanding in certain matters. I can tell by your responses that you are young and unlearned in a lot of area. Just for the record the spirit of God says a whole lot that is not in the scripture that is revelation of confirmation of what has been spoken in the scripture.  But you cannot hear his voice if you don't know Him. There is no such thing as biblical mind control! You can't follow God if you follow reason!

Also the God that I serve, does not condone hatred and bitterness for anyone. Anytime you refuse the wisdom of those who were there in the beginning of true Christianity, you are walking down a path that is sure to land you in a sea of confusion. Lastly, lying is relative and can be used by anyone who doesn't understand you. Just b/c you don't understand it, doesn't make it a lie. Regardless, God loves you and wants you to come to know Him, but not based on the hurt you've suffered from man!

I too studied both eastern and western philosophy of religion. I did so for this very reason. And yes, from a secular university. The good news is that Jesus died for the remission of our sins. We no longer have to sacrifice lambs, goats, and doves. We simply ask for forgiveness and repent (turn from) sin. The only way to do that is with the help of the Holy Ghost, who gives us power over sin. When we accept Christ in our hearts, yes we come as we are.

The people Bishop Murray is preaching to are those who are professed Christians. After we have accepted Christ, there are changes that we have to make in what we say and do. You cannot interpret the scriptures with your carnal mind. It can only be interpreted through his spirit and along with growth. As you grow in Him, He will teach you and show you things you could never understand on our own. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God(one of those being the written Word of God).

That is the gospel...that Jesus died for our sins. After we accept Him in our hearts, there is a walk we must take down the straight and narrow. After Jesus healed and He said, "Go and sin no more". Do you know what that means? That means there are things we should and should not do to maintain our salvation in Christ. You misunderstood what Bishop Murray was saying. He is talking to those who are professing salvation through Christ. PUT a difference between clean/unclean, holy/unholy!

Since we trust the Word of God, we understand that salvation is not by the sacrament, but by faith in Christ ALONE as Apostle Paul taught in the books of Romans & Ephesians.
