Some people seem to think that Fuerte should have won in this matchup, but he didn't. People in tournaments play to win, this is nothing new. People moan about Sagat and even though he's overpowered, people played to tiers in all the SF games.
They're not dub voices.. They're just another selection of voices that were made for the game. It's not like they translated and added the English ones.
Prodigal Son looks like an online scrub. They use a character, which could be their main, and as soon as they lose, they go to Sagat. Too bad El Fuerte player lost, he was pretty good.
Capcom really needs to patch the damage output Sagat has. He's got an answer for everything, it wouldn't affect him that much. I hate it when I'm playing against a Sagat online, and he's got a sliver of health left, but I eat a counter TU when pressuring him and 1/5 of my health is gone... >_>
Stfu. People been liking Sagat and Ryu since the early versions of STF. The only reason you are saying that is because the top players in Japan happen to use them.
Really? I never see any Sagat players...I remember fighting a few back in february when it first came out, but I don't see too many now. For me it's all Ryu/Ken/Akuma players. I've run across a couple good gief's, though.

Fuerte player was good, but made some bad mistakes. That's pressure for you, I guess. It was a good match.
Fuerte could use 1000 health, though. 1000 health plus a 10% increase on damage puts him in the top half in the game.

I agree, seeing ryu/sagat in tournaments or even online nearly all the time (im a gief so I have it tough) is fucking boring as hell after a while.
But the good thing is that I know the matchup so well now that I've formulated a counter for almost everyting they do now.
