By far the Knicks have the best history which leaves the Clippers and Warriors, the biggest jokes in the league. I think it's the contract buy-out issue that could keep Rubio in Spain. The league only allows teams to pay up to $500,000 to buy out the contract of an International player whose draft rights they hold. Other than Griffin (superstar to be), this draft should have some solid role players in it. Clipps will make the playoffs this year. Houston is blowing up their team, Phoenix is blowing up their team and those are the two squads standing in a HEALTHY Clippers team way. Keep in mind this prediction is based soley on the assumption the clipps will be healthy, which is highly unlikely haha.

I'm a huge Spurs fan (born and raised in San Antonio), and I have a good feeling that the Spurs got away with Highway Robbery in the draft for the THIRD TIME in the Popovich/Duncan era...this time in the form of DeJuan Blair. By the way...thanks for your props to the Spurs! I'm really excited about Richard Jefferson, but I'm gonna miss Bruce Bowen. Yes, people may hate his antics on the court, but they don't realize how much he meant to both the Spurs organization both on AND off the court.

Other than Griffin (superstar to be), this draft should have some solid role players in it. Clipps will make the playoffs this year. Houston is blowing up their team, Phoenix is blowing up their team and those are the two squads standing in a HEALTHY Clippers team way. Keep in mind this prediction is based soley on the assumption the clipps will be healthy, which is highly unlikely haha.

Rubio is a toss up. His track record is very similar to Sasha Vujuicic (although Rubio was on a more successful international team). That stat scares me. He could be great, but he could just be decent too.

the knicks are basically the eastern conference golden st. warriors. all they do is score.imo ya both teams are pretty garbage. but monta ellis even with the injury is more of an impact player than any player on the knicks. w/e both teams suck and will be bad for the next 10 years (lebron prolly wont want to play for a loser coach that doesnt teach defense imo). but ya no team that picks in the top 14 will win. hardly any of em will make playoffs nxt year... thats y they in the lottery.

it'd be a decent pickup but you gotta consider the luol deng effect. you also gotta consider the fact that gordon needs to be paid. factor all that in & you end up with "blair might not be the best pick".
about noah, it's not the same league where you had meaty guys like malone, oakley & mahorn. today's power forward is an open floor player. which sucks because blair is a pure 4 but undersized. and yes, he's strong as ammonia piss but all the bench press in the world won't extend your arms
