  • TOOO SLOW

  • thats good

  • Good technique but I don't like the way she plaunches before hand. She is way to archy

  • Also, you will notice that the hips are up at the end of the swing vs. toe's up as in a flyaway. Again not "normal" for a tap, but considering what the goal is...shorten the radius. The performance on this video is excellent.

  • As a general rule that may be true, but in this case it is proper to throw the head back considering that the goal is to shorten the radius within the bars in order to flip and then catch the low bar in support position. if not, then the swing would tend to go too out and the gymnast would end up landing on the low bar in a painful way. The technique cannot be the same as the flyaway. Hope I gave you some insight into the skill.

  • uhhh ur actually teaching them to throw their head back at 1:24. thats wrong dont EVER teach gymnats to do that!

  • the voice in the beginning is kinda creepy

  • it would be cool if she did an uprise free hip handstand after that!

  • to a blind half , front giant, jagger hahah.

  • haha, YES!

  • When a gymnast lacks strength, sometimes they have to change the technique. For instance, Khorkina lacked the raw strength in some of her bars skills. You will notice she throws her head out to initiate a "snapping" motion for her clear-hip (shaposhnikova), her paks, and some of her other skills.

  • I see more and more gymnasts doing that horrible arch thing coming out of a handstand like at :36. What IS that? Lack of power/strength?

  • Wow the one in the green was best...

    well i htought so..

    Good job!

  • The gymnast souldn't tilt her head when she's in the handstand position because it throws off her form.

  • when u do the shiposhnikopa you have to fin just go 4i t and swing you 2 arms to the next bar

  • That is bad form on her Pak. she shouldn't need to throw her head out like she dose. I use to compete this skill and also taught other gymnast this move and have never ever needed to break form for myself or anyone else I have taught to do this skill.

  • yeha im 9 and im a junior elite and ummi compete it is it very easy..except for when you have to move the bars in closer and you forget too and you miss the bar:P

  • i compete that and i am 9

  • really what lvl r u

  • It's not your age that matters. It's your SKILL. A 15 year old could have barely started and made quicker progress than most.

  • That combination ROCKS. Does anyone actually compete that?

  • yep i do. it is not that hard actually

  • HAHA.

  • wow. that is an incredible move. i never get to see the coaching and training behind it all
