Every time I watch a Hamilton tribute video, I get disappointed by the fact he only has one title to his name. The amount of near misses he has had is silly.
i cried when vettel passed hamilton in 2008, then i saw glock and cried again very emotional about my favourites but what a 5th place that was, just did what he had to do :)
As poorly as Lewis has been performing over the past few races, I must say that is his driving style that won him and McLaren their first championship in a decade, along with the millions of haters he has today...I would still want him in my team if I happened to be a team boss, he is one of the most committed blokes there are today in a racing car.
@SennaHamilton4ever I don't want to discuss with you but if you ever will be brave enough to get the reality, just watch one vid about the last lap and ther'll be no doubt any more ;)
Poor Senna, to find himself in the same name like crazy Hamilton...
Hamilton is just crazy. And I feel bearded when i take stock of his season. He can't pass any two races without causing a collision and due to this fact, he risks not only his own life, but also his colleagues one's. Buddy, we all know that Timo Glock, one of his best friends had a massively big part in his first and last championship win (Can see it on every video ;) Hamilton is nuthin but a loser who had one great season but who should now pass it over to the talented ones like Vettel ;)
@ZuaGweisslter - To be honest I'm starting to agree with you.
Whilst I was never a Hamilton fan, I greatly admired his driving ability. But he's driven appallingly this year. If you asked me at the end of last year who I thought was better out of Hamilton or Vettel, I'd have said Hamilton, easily. This year, it's the complete opposite.
@FormulaOneFan4Eva Im an Hamilton fan, and i sort of agree with u. The problem with Lewis this year is that he is trying to go faster than his car, and when u are over the limit, this kind of racing incidents happen. on portuguese autosport, came an interview of Berger, saying the same as many guys back here, that he an Alonso are trying to go faster than their cars, and Hmilton is pushing a little bit to much
@ZuaGweisslter Have u ever watched a f1 race? But as many portuguese guys say, if some guys dont believe that man has walked on the moon, how will they believe that glock actually had tyre issues in the last lap?
@ZuaGweisslter Have u ever watched a f1 race? But as many portuguese guys say, if some guys dont believe that man has walked on the moon, how will they believe that glock actually had tyre issues in the last lap?
I am a huge Hamiton fan... that was awesome terrific video he is the best driver i have seen in an f1 car (maybe alonso matches him ) but he is electrifying !
@curlyafroninja - Lol, did he win by 90 seconds? Anyway, the Toro Rosso was arguably the best car that weekend. The Ferrari engine at Monza was the obvious choice, and 3 of of the top 4 cars in qualifying were RBR designs.
Certain cars star at certain tracks and conditions, the Force India in 2009 for example was perfectly suited to Spa. While Monza 2008 was a very impressive win, it certainly doesn't mean Vettel is better than Hamilton, especially not in the wet.
@FormulaOneFan4Eva You are forgetting that it rained in Qualifying and Kubica, Hamilton and Raikkonen all started outside the top 10 due to a mistake.
He doesn't need the fastest car on the Grid because his skill alone is second to none. Button had the fastest car in 2009 and now Vettel has the fastest car for 2010 and 2011, but we all know who has the talent like the Legends of F1. He drives like a champion and will always be a Champion. Everyone can learn from him even as he grows in experience throughout his career as Michael Schumacher did. Well done Lewis keep it coming!!
Lewis' very first race, what an unforgettable drive...he certainly surpassed my expectations of him, and continued to do so over the course of the season...Lewis Hamilton had carved his name in as a genuine title contender almost every year since!
I would have avoided mentioning his 5th place in Brazil 2008 in a highlights reel. What an embarassing way to win the championship, getting beaten by Vettel who you claim Hamilton 'owns' in the rain.
@Domashel - Lol, I shouldn't mention his first title in a highlights reel? Okay.
Secondly, I don't want to start a Hamilton vs. Vettel argument, but Hamilton was taking it easy in Brazil 2008 and was still under the impression that he was 4th before Vettel passed him. Perhaps if he was aware of Glock's lack of stopping, he would've defended a little harder when he clearly wasn't trying.
Finally, Britain 2008... Vettel has never produced such a drive. This is also coming from a 'Nando fan.
@RFCKB2K9 And who do you support...? Glock was on dry tryers on a track which if there where another 5 laps or so, it would have been Full wet conditions. Why would McLaren pay them? besides, you tell me he didn't deserve the championship in 2007.
@RFCKB2K9 - Has it occurred to you after a good three years that if Glock wanted Hamilton to win the championship, he would've just pitted like everybody else?
So you're telling me that Glock wouldn't have pitted in order to take track position off Hamilton, only to let him through again for shits and giggles? That makes perfect sense... Get off my Tribute video.
Hey your videos are great :) keep it up! What's great is that you give respect to all drivers. It shows you are a true fan of the sport. I'm a Mclaren fan, but I do not hate Alonso like some, I respect him for being one of the best drivers.
@FormulaOneFan4Eva yeah i am a lewis hamilton fan but i respect other drivers i enjoyed the rival of alonso and hamilton in 2007. thought was not to sure about that pit hold up but apart from that i like all drivers.i did like alonso a lot before that because although schumacher was really good it did get a bit boring watching him win all the time.
You should of added the 2008 Canadian GP Crash he had. With a lot of your other Tribute videos, you have includes 1 or 2 bad moments but not with this video.
@MrBv256 - It was pretty difficult finding a decent clip of that crash though, seeing as all I could find were dubbed, low quality or parodied versions.
@MrBv256 - Also, the 2007 pitlane incident, going off in China and his gearbox failure in Brazil were all included in this video. I think they qualify as "bad moments"
There would have been many millions of Brazilians who would have had crossed arms, and giving a siring glare at Felipe/a picture of him, thinking "Well?" after the 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix, no doubt.
one of the best rookie season in 07 such a shame he didnt win the championship, but 08 was a thrilling season and he deserved it, i think the best racer in the field now some stunning drives and overtakes this year. another great video i think your best one to date. thanks.
Great video, Lewis is simply the best F1 driver, so good to watch. Lets hope he gets a decent package from the 1st race instead of playing catch up. Go Lewis, you can do it, 2011 WC.
