Hmm, if that is the case then I guess wooden sword, bottles, and slingshot can be completely skipped.

Yes. Right now a low% would skip:

-Wooden Sword

-Sera's Bottle

-Slingshot

-North Faron Portal

-Snowpeak Portal

Uh, can't you skip all 4 bottles? I don't see a point in collecting any since you can dip the lantern to get it refilled.

Once it becomes light world those beats go away. So only good if you want to make things more annoying. I wouldn't call this as a challenge except when you first make it.

It's not really a challenge. The point of the low% is to skip as many items as possible, so if something is skippable (such as this portal) it must be skipped.

i'm not sure about that. i think the portal to eldin bridge, you had to defeat those beasts with human link, meaning he's in the light world.

Wouldn't that make it impossible to get back there because of the barrier, or does it dissapear?

You can go through the barrier if you're on the other side of it.

Plus you wouldn't need to go back through it as the last two bugs are back there.

It skips a portal, so it's good for a low%.
