hey i heard a problem with the 3gs' overheating. and people with white ones will notice a "brown discoloration" on the back of it. does anyone know if this is a major problem? or is it rare?

It's not true. People thought it was overheating, but it wasn't. Certain cases people were using rubbed off on the white iPhones. All it took was a little alcohol to rub it off. It wasn't overheating. :)

I always go for white. It's so much more Apple like. Apple doesn't make black MacBooks, etc. Either aluminum or white plastic. I couldn't make myself buy a black one. lol. (They made one black MacBook a while back.. but usually their products are white)
