Yes, back in the day, a woman would never be as bold as to say open your closed door, which also has other implications, but then, Sephardis' are no prudes, Yai-Yai would sing this as a lulabye, along with lots of other songs with double meanings......so good not to be an up tight Askanazi, lol......Anyone heard a good version of Duerme, Duerme, Hermosa Donzenya?
