@johnwang67-- I don't know how I'd feel about being barefoot outdoors. I will be doing this Day Without Shoes thing tomorrow... but I have soft feet so if I get to a rocky patch that will NOT be fun.

I think the point though is, if you've seen the other promo vids for this event, that a lot of kids have to walk over very dangerous soil barefoot. They can get cuts and infections that lead to debilitating diseases later on. Sometimes kids can't even attend schools if they don't have shoes.
