  • what province in Canada did you go to?

  • @Drshorr Quebec.

  • @aguynamedoleg haha no way im from quebec! did you go to the montreal region where i live near or In the city of quebec

  • @Drshorr I do not want to spoil it :) I will have a 19part series to my Canada experience.

  • I also carry around 2 pens (they cost 2 euros each), that I have been writing with them for around 3 years, Rotring pens,I only change the reserves, original ones cost more then the pen.Usually I emotionaly atach myself to some of this daily things that help you, sometimes it's hard for to me throw away a pen that I wrote years with it, at tests and exams. It's like every small thing has it's own personality and there is conection between you and the object itself.

  • @pompiliupopescu Wow, expensive pens you write with ;) I have hundreds of these TD Bank Pens that I get for free, everytime I go into the Bank. Though, I have a special red pen, that I used and now I think I will keep and cherish for, graded young students work with it some time ago, but some time passed and I have forgotten that experience and now I am thinking about it :)

  • @aguynamedoleg Well because I use to write with my pens a long time, the price is very good on long term usage, if you have to buy one monthly now you can call that expensive, but I don't pay for them :)) , my father gives them to me from his job , I only change the reserve.

  • I see what you mean with pens, I like to carry a pen around with me, which is why I'm buying a Parker fountain pen for like £20 for school and general use. I love anything that is useful to me in that sense, but then again most people don't see the value in such items.

  • @SubRosaSpear to each his own :) Yeah I have been thinking maybe it would be a good idea to spend some $ and get a "special pen" I am beginning to understand why such a thing even exists, you know like you said, a $25/30 pen, assuming I did the rough estimate on british pound to USD correctly, but I remember seeing fountain pens that are in the hundreds, and I bet there are ones out there in the thousands. I bet maybe a very succesful author Stephen King writes with one of those.

  • Actually flamer is 5 minutes younger :D = Captain HooK = Big Brother

  • @tuomashe oh LOL :) I thought it was the other way around. Why is he the boss then :P

  • Maybe Charlie needs to eat some grass or green small leafs. My dog , Max ( he is a tekel-ratter race) sometimes eats some little grass, this helps clean up his stomach, after this he throws it up.

  • @pompiliupopescu wait wait wait, what? he eats the grass/small leafs and then throws up? That seems to be a bad idea...just throwing up is a bad idea.

  • @aguynamedoleg The cats eat the grass so that they can throw up undigested matter in their stomachs. This is a lot safer for cats than passing undigested things through their intestines, so you should probably let Charlie go and eat some grass. :)

  • @SubRosaSpear Couldn't have said it better , it's a good way to have a clean digestive system for dogs and cats.

  • @aguynamedoleg HOWEVER I should say if your cat is constantly being sick you should probably see the vet and let them know what type of food they are eating and things. It can't be good if it's happening all the time...

  • @SubRosaSpear Taking Charlie 5ft away from my home = death sentence, I will try to pick up some grass next time I am around it and see if it works.

  • @aguynamedoleg A lot of cat owners apparently grow their own grass in their house in like a little pot for the cat because that way they know it's totally healthy.

Because I have a tendency to lose pens or give them away in school and find myself without one I think having a more expensive on would mean I would remember it a little easier and take more care of it, as well as my writing quality being better.

I think a pen that is £200 is probably not better than one that is £100...

  • @SubRosaSpear Yeah, but maybe it is there some kind of natural pattern to it, for a writer that is.

    starting out - cheap pen

publishing your "writing" - maybe get a more expensive pen

publishing your 3rd big seller book - maybe get a more expensive pen

winning a nobel peace prize or the pultizer(sorry mispelling) - maybe upgrade the pen again

It gives it a little bit more meaning, because you can afford to "upgrade" idk, I think some people do that with cars, in the US at least.

  • @aguynamedoleg ...but rather just make of a material that may be rarer or maybe it costs that much just so people can show off, because it's not like pen technology is so great it is worth more than £100... Companies obviously see that people are willing to buy extremely expensive pens for some reason and just go with that.

Even £50 seems rather expensive for a pen for me.
