I saw that at the Roundhouse and I have to say that Eska breathed life into the band, the new songs and the old materials. What a fantastic night. As we move into the next decade its nice to see that Zero 7 will be taking us there ..... great stuff Gents (& Ladies)
Ok, i am defo a much bigger Sia fan than i am Zero7 (although i still absolutely love Zero7), i think Eska suits the new stuff perfectly, but just not the older tracks, still she done a good job considering it was never gonna be the same without Sia - Hats off to the vocalists!
I agree. Eska doesn't fit with the electronica, but I'd like to see what new stuff they've come up with. Saying that, I don't think it will be as good as the old stuff with Sia.

i haven't heard the new album yet. I do think Sia fits the band's style better, but then if they're going with a new genre..
The old stuff just isn't as good with Eska singing it, but then again, it WAS originally sung by Sia.

I was there at the Brighton concert, and i'm a huge zero 7 fan.
But.... Eska is just not the right sound for the band. However the other signer was very good - with a more in folksy sound.
overall a very disappointing show -- when you compare with concerts with Sia.
