i'm finally giving in and getting this series from amazon. i fell in love with this series a very long time ago when i caught a pbs channel airing it at 4am. you'd be hard pressed to find anything like this or even this series anywhere on any network at any time of the day or night!

I have been searching for hours for the episode from season one entitled " The Image of Death", If anyone has it, would you please share? It is the episode that scared my nine year old self to death.. and I would LOVE to see it now that I am all grown up. It has taken me many years to get myself ready. It really scared me!! And that haunting soundtrack. Just when something creepy is about to happen, the woman begins to softly ooh in the background. Whew!

I loved this series and I hope they list more seasons-this is when the shows were great and the writing was even better!

I don't know if it's because sponsers for TV programming hamstring the writers or what, but the quality of not only the programs, but the writing thereof has seriously declined-

Special effects is frosting on the cake, it's not supposed to BE the cake-which I think has happened-it's all junk food programming that's special effects telling the story rather than the plot

What's really cool is to notice how long the program is in its entirety.

For this one in 1959 (THE GOOD YEARS) 25:59 for the program and only

4:01 in commercial ads and station break. This was the era when you could watch a program and not forget what it's about because of so much

commercialism. This shows you young people what total GREED causes.

Theyf weren't content with making SOME money, they want it ALL. And in doing so, they ruined broadcast TV.
