i understand these 1/5th scale buggies are bigger, but they also have a bigger engine, why does my 1/8 ofna ultra lx comp do 50+, o wait i know y, exceed rc is shit. ESPECIALLY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Had the driftstar called them about ten different days and they were always busy. My esc lit on fire when the car was just sitting there. O and thanks for carrying a bunch of shit thats never in stock.

30 mph isnt that fast. i have a traxxas jato 3.3, it may only be 1/10 scale, but i got up to 67 mph on asphalt. that was only $300, but this seems pretty awesome because its huge

Hey NitroRCX Uhmm well i was looking forward to maybe buying a 1/5 scale Hannibal or Barca in the future but i want to know if it is okay for them to get wet, because right now i have a 1/10 traxxas nitro rustler and i almost fried my ESC by driving through a puddle and wated to know if those can handle more i have seen them go through deep deep mud and puddls but i dont know if its real bad.

I'd recommend waterproofing the electronics no matter what such as the esc and engine as well. =) It's not quite waterproof and that's perfect as it is a hobby, you can do absolutely anything you want to it, such as modifications, upgrades, etc =) -cn

These are made by HSP. The same company who make the Redcat Rampage and Dunerunners. Parts would be compatible with the redcat Dunerunner as it is basically the same car. These are not HPI Baja clones and are not compatible with the HPI parts. You can run wheels and tires for the Baja on them by getting a set of HPI hexes though. I've done this with my redcat rampage TT. I can't wait for the Hannibal to come out so I can ad another 1/5 scale to my toy shed!!!!!!!

Are the parts on the Barca compatible with any other buggy like the HPI?

I believe on the wheels and shocks are compatible. The chassis components wouldn't be compatible and I'm not so sure about the engine either. Sorry for the lack of information.

Barca is an awesome looking buggy!! I'm considering buying one and I've checked your site's forum nitro rcx . No info or reviews in the forum about this model. How does it stack up against the HPI Baja, is it actually faster? Being 4wheel drive does it make it slower? If you could post a video intro like you did on the maxstone. That would be awesome

The Barca looks alot like the HPI Baja 5B, except it`s 4wd which is pretty cool.

Are those Nitro or pedrol, because it says Nitro and those are not Nitro engines.

Different bodies but they all use the same chasis and everything inside is the same EXCEPT they added a bumper and took off the wing on The Desert truck and that monster truck.
