pikmin 3 is just pikmin 1 for the wii with the same controls and nothing new not even motion sense for throwing :/ and i hardly let my pikmin fight in challenge mode/caves i use olimar to punch them to death :P

@legolegologo the small ones can only eat 1 pikmin but the big ones can eat 1-3, than there's the biggest one, which is accualy called the segmented crawbster. it doesn't eat pikmin, it crushes them and makes rocks fall, it's also a boss.

I never played Pikmin 2. I traumatized myself in the first game after I took 100 red Pikmin and purposely drowned them all at once. All those ghosts and sad cries scarred me for life. I can only watch Pikmin speedruns where none of them die.

Oh, and did you hear about Pikmin 3 for Wii? It was announced a the 2008 E3 show.

XD, oh wow. I was kind of over protective in the first game - if one Pikmin died, I'd send them all back somewhere safe and chase down the killer myself lol. I chased this one fish for like, 3/4 of the day.

And yea, I have - I'm pretty hyped up for it! I wonder if there'll be new types of them...I also heard about a sequel to Galaxy...

That would rock. Who says there only has to be one 3D Mario game per console anyways? That sucks. We would have to wait until Nintendo Wii Station 360 or whatever comes next to get a new one.

Though I still like Sunshine the best out of the three of em.

I know - back in the NES days, we only waited about a year for each in the series to come out. Now we have wait like 1/3 of a decade lol.

Great playing, I need to get the first game...on second thought, maybe I should stick with this. can't deal with a 30 day time limit. Keeping Pikmin alive is hard enough...

Nah i wouldn't get the first game. It doesn't have any real plot that isnt mentioned in Pikmin 2. Plus Pikmin 2 is waaaaaay more fun!
